I’ve read it is limited to SO engines & they have found the culprit…a wiring harness that is stretched too far & grounds against some part of the engine.Anyone else concerned about all the issues folks with ‘25s are having? Hearing a lot of people getting check engine lights very early on.
Makes me a bit nervous
I haven't read that yet but if true would make a lot of senseI’ve read it is limited to SO engines & they have found the culprit…a wiring harness that is stretched too far & grounds against some part of the engine.
Yup, they saved a few pennies & it’s costing them a fortune to fix. It’s happened before…it will happen again.
Very possible. I'm all for having them go through these trucks BEFORE we take delivery...all day, every day. None of us need that stress.I’ve been keeping tabs on the hurricane owners page. And there was a post on the feds finding this wiring harness issue. Not a TSB or recall yet. But Ram should be aware. So maybe that’s why our RHO deliveries are delayed. That’s what I would like to believe at least.
