Here's a new Stellantis price drop video, backing up yesterday's TK video about price cuts.

Price Cut

The video claims Stellantis is cutting prices by 35% across the whole line up of vehicles in "Q2" of the year.

A $100,000 fully dressed Tungsten would drop to $65,000.

My ordered RHO would drop into the $55,000 range.

What's important to know is how Stellantis/RAM define sales quarters.

New models usually release in September, so manufacturers run Q1 as Oct, Nov, Dec, meaning Q2 would be Jan, Feb, Mar...

If quarters run in a typical calendar format, Q2 isn't until Apr, May, Jun. The information getting out now doesn't support the April to June format. If that's the case nobody would buy anything from now to April 1st. Their sales would almost stop for three months.

Dealers need to tread lightly if these price cuts are true.

There's not one person here who wouldn't walk away from a $1000 deposit to save $25+++K down the road. That's just basic math.

35 percent cut seems too good to be true. 35k cut seems insane
It also puts them as an extreme outlier in the market. The current prices are already very good/competitive with the other major MFRs.

Right the Rho price is in line with a 801A Raptor when comparing fully loaded. I got 6k off my 2024 Raptor and that seems insane. So with the discounts the rho is already honestly a bargain. It’s not going to drop to 60k fully loaded lol

I mean come on tungsten and rho around 60k yeah ok keep dreaming. I love it how they say to compete with Ford, Chevy.. compete with what they entry level crap 🤣 even if they do anything rho ain't getting touched forget it.

I don't see the prices dropping that far either. With all the rebates form Mark, I basically going to be paying 70k for my level 1 RHO & I'm pretty stoked about that! I paid 93,500 for Denali 1.5 yr ago!

All I can say is they said that was going to be the case for 2024.. I’m not going to live my life based on what if.. there are people out there waiting to purchase a house sense 2018 because it’s all about to crash 😱

I saw a YouTube video that said I could manifest a million dollars. I will be walking away from my $1,000 deposit in a heartbeat and buying one off the lot when this happens.

Pre pandemic the Raptors would sell close to 60k from a dealer. Perhaps Ram wants to bring prices back down to those levels. Even if that’s the case I think RHO gets a 5k discount at most. The lower trims that currently sell at 60k are the ones that will receive the highest discount and sell at 40k. In 2016 I bought a fully loaded ram 1500 sport for 38k. Miss those days.

I do believe we will see price cuts from all manufacturers over the next coming year. Most people cannot afford new vehicles even at 72 months or longer financing. Wages have not kept up with inflation especially inflation in the car market. Manufacturers will need to either lower MSRP or offer even greater incentives in order to sell their product.

This will be interesting to watch. Multiple outlets are reporting the same thing. Since I just ordered my rho a few weeks ago time is on my side and I only put 200 down to order it. Forget getting one for 55k - I’d love to get one for 65 or 70 nicely equipped. That would be a huge win in my book! My build is right around 85k msrp.

If Ram does roll out any significant price drops (and I guaranty they won't be near 35%) they will simply discontinue the massive rebates they are running at the same time, pricing won't change THAT much. For example, you will not see a substantial price drop for a Ram 1500 Big Horn while they keep $8,000 in rebates in play. That $8k is around 15% of their starting MSRP.

Agree - 35% is over the top..

But 8% to 15% is reasonable.

The truth is usually somewhere between 1/4 & 1/2 of the extreme...

If the could add markups of $10K or more during C19, they can cut prices accordingly now...

Think about this...most domestic manufactures making about $10k profit on a full size truck. If MSRP is $85k, they are in all costs around $75k, dropping price 35% will never happen, no manufacture can do this with keeping same supply chain and suppliers in tact. TK and others are click bait YTers. He also said Hemi is coming back but fails to mention its only Durango that is getting this engine and this has been planned for over 2 years and has zero to do with Tim coming back.

The more realistic thing we will see is what Ford is doing on Bronco and Ranger....stopping production and delaying 2025 model year vehicles to help reduce supply to keep prices high. Ram is already the most discounted truck available for 2025 trucks. GM HDs are offering only $1k discount on $95k trucks.

Actually did do this before ford.. they slowed down production
