Yep. When that happens you just have to turn engine off, wait a minute and restart. Fun fact your dealer won't even be able to see there was an issue because it self clears the code and not even in history. It's one of the many little electronic gremlins that are all able to self resolve at restart and no rhyme or reason. So took the RHO out over the weekend in the rain. Both mirror sensors turned on and stayed on. The dash said "Blind sport alert unavailable service required " plan to take to dealer this week. Wonder if anyone had similar.
I did that and even left it parked for a few hours. I ended up turning off the sensors. I need to turn them back on and seeing how its going now.Yep. LOL. I did the exact same thing the first time it happened. Turned off lane assist, went in safety page and disabled them then re-enabled them and I got a nifty gift for my efforts. Now the lane assist button illuminates when I turn off the truck.I did that and even left it parked for a few hours. I ended up turning off the sensors. Curious if this happens again have dealer look for a wiring faults...I am convinced the issue I had with the rear wire harness could be something others are dealing with too..not a hard fix, but you have to know how to look for it.
