So when I got the truck, I didn't notice it. But there were other delivery damage issues that were put on a due bill. After a month, I noticed small dents on both sides where the doors meet; they're only visible when the sun hits them just right. It's a horrible picture, I know. But it's at the dealer, and they are working to get it fixed as it's right on the edge of all four doors. The advisor told me Ram is aware of the issue and that it's present on 90% of the produced trucks. Just curious if anyone else has noticed them? You have to zoom in on the picture.

Can confirm I'm either one of the 10% or your dealer is full of shit (I know which one I'm choosing)

Yes, if you look closely, there are sheet metal “irregularities” on many new Ram 1500 trucks.

As a former body shop parts manager, I’m very familiar with “waves” in sheet metal that occur when body gaps are “adjusted” during production.

These are not Lexus quality vehicles. We know that. So, don’t sweat the tiny stuff. But, the OP’s dents look a bit more extreme in that photo. Maybe PDR can fix them, as I sure wouldn’t want any bodywork & refinishing on my brand new truck.

Mine has a couple of these "irregularities" that I may try to remove myself.

And maybe they're not Lexus quality....but this damn thing costs more than my sister's Lexus!

I’m in that 10%, (knocking wood), I’ve been lucky. Jan-25 build. Everyone must have been refreshed from the holidays and over their hangovers. 😂

Mine came with a dent/scratch on the passenger door. I was told it was damaged during transportation. Dealership handled it and fixed it really well, can't even tell the door was worked on.

I can't see any dents in the photos...so I will make a mental note to check mine during PDI.
