Tried auto comfort with key, off on, key cycles, out of the blue the driver heated seat won't work. Every single either one does, it won't let me turn it on from the connect screen

Any ideas?

Did you pay to extend your heated seats beyond the 30 day trial period? I believe they are subscription based.

Ha! They are not subscription based. Thinking you may need a dealer visit if they stopped working “out of the blue”.

Odd how the seat in the display is sitting a bit low…

When I first started reading ypur response I started believing it haha

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking, just hoping someone else experienced it and had a fix

Also is missing the word “heat” under it (compared to passenger seat) … why it’s sitting low on the display

Wonder what happens if you try a different profile on the uconnect system (like a driver 2 profile)

and while it might be drastic - there is a reset driver profile settings to default:
My Profile
When the My Profile button is pressed on the touchscreen, the system displays options related to the vehicle’s profiles

Restore Settings to Default This setting will return all the previously changed settings to their factory defaults.

I'm going to try checking the fuses to.orrow during the day, too cold and dark tonight.

Hopefully I just blew a fuse, the other day I turned it on 3 times in a row on a long drive.

wasn't the fuse, dealership trip coming soon I assume

I had a similar issue pop up on mine this morning. Although my heated steering wheel and seat would show “on” on the display neither the steering wheel or the seat was getting warm. The rear heated seat or ventilated buttons would not light up.

1. I checked all fuses (they are located below steering wheel) all were good.
2. I reset the radio back to factory
3. I set driver to #2 then back to driver #1
4. Ran a scan with BlueDriver code reader (it did show some codes on modules)
5. Charged up both batteries.

I dont know if any of the steps 1-4 had any affect or not but my heated seats and steering wheel all started working after a fresh battery charge. I dont know if this will help in your situation or not but worth a shot. I have also changed out my big battery already and may go and get a replacement of the small battery. Something is chewing on these batteries. I drive this thing daily but on a short 20 mi commute to work.

Not surprised about #4. Ram is still working out some software “kinks” on these trucks. It’s probably why start of production was delayed. But, they can only wait so long before moving forward.

I really think it’s the new “norm” for new/refreshed vehicle launches.

The OP did change his batteries, at his own expense. I’m just keeping mine on a battery tender until further notice. Seems I have fewer & fewer electronic glitches as time goes on.

Some of the codes if anyone’s interested.

This dual charger may become a permanent fixture. I also changed my battery on my dime. A few hundred dollars is worth not having to take it to the dealer. I have gotten into the habit of checking my battery on the display regularly. Brand new battery showing 12.2-12.6 v after a few days. He still may be loosing voltage somewhere. This happened to me with a new battery also.

Going to try #2 tomorrow and maybe discpnnect the battery for a while to reset everything. I have new batteries(my own dime too) after i replaced them all my issues stopped except for the seat heater now. Checked both fuses boxes and made sure all were seated properly, also replaced the driver seat heat fuse. I also switch driver profiles.

Going to get a scanner soon, past few cars I've owned I've used my tuning device as a scanner, time to get a real one.

That's the right voltage for a truck not running, should be fine

I forgot to add that. I did disconnect both batteries for a good 1/2 hour or so while checking fuses. Also dug around under the seats checking all plugs. My new battery was only a couple weeks old. Fully charged then. Was weird that after a charge it all started working again.

Dual charger?

I considered it, BUT when my truck was undergoing PDI & the tech was trying to get to the minimum required battery voltage for delivery, he only charged the main battery. Thinking that charges both, as needed.

Same with my last car…it had a ‘starter” battery in the trunk and smaller Li-ion battery for the stop/start system in the engine bay. It only had one set of inputs for an external charger.

what do you use to read the codes?

Btw, where is the second battery located?

gram - did you figure it out?

My seats get HOT...

Wife says they could double as warming trays for food on Thanksgiving or Christmas...

nope, did the reset this morning, didn't work. Waiting for the dealership.

BTW, before they stopped working, yes, they get nice and hot
