2025 RAM RHO
New to the forum and RAM. Just got a new RHO. I noticed after about 3 weeks of having the truck that the driver side seems lower when looking at the front and rear wheels. Driver side top of wheel to fender lip looks almost an inch less of gap. I am not sure if this is considered a true problem though for an $85k truck you’d think it would be level. I know trx had issues like this but was resolved with a service bulletin. Curious if anyone else has this with their RHO and if it can be addressed by a dealer. Car seems to drive fine but the difference is noticeable. And yes I looked at it on a flat surface and measured with tape measure. Also had my battery die the first night haha but took it to dealer and that hasn’t been an issue since. If this is the wrong forum to post my apologies. Happy to move or take down if needed.

Thanks youve given me another thing to worry about. Will have to measure tomorrow

This is the result of a Stellantis research project. They performed a large survey in 2020 and found that the average buyer was male and weighed 195 lbs. the average spouse of the buyer weighed 255 lbs, so the springs were adjusted accordingly. The intent was to provide a leveled ride with both occupants in the vehicle.

Pretty sure it was 355*

Lol...I guess I will have to tell my wife there is a technical fix to the issue.

Haha, I'm sorry. I am not trying to download my anxieties onto others. If you can't see a difference just by looking don't measure, its close enough. I can see a difference between looking at one side and the other...off about an inch maybe a bit less.

Like I said, I am pretty sure this happened with the TRXs, it became a TSB and they simply swapped in stiffer springs.

Went through this with a new El Camino back in '67. Dealer replaced springs and shocks but nothing changed. Asked them to check frame alignment - denied. So I took it to a frame alignment shop, my expense. Ended up the right side main frame rail was tweaked over an inch. Their best guess was it was cinched down too tight during transport. Dealer wouldn't pay to correct. Last Chevy I ever purchased, except for a few Vets.

Yea that sucks. I would hope they (a dealer or RAM) would at least look into this, especially given the issues with lean on the TRX.
