Hey help me out , I searched for warranty options on here and accepted the dealers maxcare based on the feedback here . We did the paperwork but now I'm being told I can't have maxcare in washington, where I live and there upgrading me to assurant ...
Maxcare was 72 month 72k I believe for about 3k
Assurant is 84 month 100k for same price but who are they . I'm not exactly wanting a extended warranty being I like to modify my stuff but if it's also a quality warranty any feedback would be appreciated

Seems odd that MaxCare wouldn't be available. In my experience most finance managers will push an aftermarket warranty because cost is lower, and they make more money. That may be what's going on here. There are some pros and cons to aftermarket IMO. Aftermarket warranties will often times send an adjuster that may not be as knowledgably and also cannot dive into computer diagnostics like an OEM warranty. So that' something to consider. But I like the peace of mind of an OEM backed warranty.

This is the warranty I purchased. FlexCare is the only service contract provider backed by Stellantis and honored at all authorized Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep®, and Ram dealerships across North America

Yeah at this point I'm telling him I don't want it , I received this info today, but I signed 2 weeks ago I'm not sure how I'm even in this position .

I'd like to think they didn't "bait and switch you" but it smells like that.....

Started reading the premium assurant package it covers up to a 6" lift and 2" larger tires or also lowering . Thought that was good info for people on here looking for collars and 37s I'm still not educated on warranty decisions
