I would advise everyone who ordered in Apr,May, Jun who's truck has not moved, to cancel and reorder. The dealership should refund your down payment or at least push it towards the new order. Something is severely wrong with these orders and there is no reason why you should have to wait and hope they go through when no one can provide you any concrete info. If anything, tell the dealer you will be contacting a lawyer about the down payment if they give you any problem. I mentioned those who are waiting to my dealership and they said, all down payments are refundable in this type of situation and any dealership that doesn't see that that customer has a point with these early orders, is not a dealership you would want to do business with in the first place.

I don't really like to create problems, its not too much of a big deal to me. We are in no rush to add 2 more trucks to the fleet of payments lol Though it would of been cool to get the trucks early on to be able to bolt parts onto and such.

At least for MD orders, you sign an agreement that the deposit will be refunded after 9 months. Nobody is at 9 months yet. Threatening to lawyer up doesn't make any sense while you're still within the terms of the agreement you signed

Do I think these dealers should offer it now for early unscheduled orders? 100% yes. But let's not act like this is some breach of contract requiring legal action.

I get it but i have a feeling these orders did not go through. It makes no sense. I ordered mine on mid Nov and its been delivered 5 weeks later. But to each his own i guess. I wouldn't stand for it, but thats just me

You wouldn't stand for what? We signed the agreement. It hasn't been violated yet.

Ok. Wait with no real info being passed on why you are waiting 8/9 months on a $85K vehicle while others are being completed in 5 weeks. Seems ludacris to me. But sure, you signed an agreement. I guess its just a different way of going through life. There is no way in this world i would sit back with no info, and there is also no way in the world i would do business with a dealership that can't even get me an answer on why i'm waiting while others aren't.

You make a good point.

IMO, it's not unreasonable at this point to at least expect an acknowledgement of a problem.

I have a 5/18 order with no movement since. I shouldn't have to wonder why folks ordering months after me already have their vehicle.

Now I'm left to determine if placing a second order is the route to take...the lack of guidance or communication is the frustrating part.

Wish I was successful enough I could own a business and not care about paying customers getting their orders filled...
