Am i missing something? I'm cycling through the gauge cluster option (up/down) and i'm not seeing the Navigation page. I've seen plenty of video that show the maps on the gauge cluster, but can't figure out where this is located? Anyone have the same issue or know how to enable this display?

should just be a scroll through the gauge cluster as you mentioned - may need to pause for a few seconds on each option - the nav on EVIC screen does take a few to load since its more info than the other menu options. Not sure if there is any setting or on/off in the Center console - ill look when I have a sec

Do you have android auto or car play on? I think it only works with the included navigation
This is correct. The on board navigation only shows up in the instrument cluster and HUD. Wish it could integrate with AA/ACP more but eh.

What am I missing? Is this the same as everyone’s options.

Huh off the top of my head I'm pretty sure I have like 10-12 pages of settings where you only have 7. Is yours level 0?

It’s like something is missing from the menus.

doing some reading on this - and going to check my own menu - but I found this rather hilarious

Wonder if there is something with nav on the passenger screen - maybe if thats on you cant get to nav on the EVIC ??

So CarPlay doesn’t show in the HUD? I was hoping it would, I use Waze constantly it seems

I also only have 7. I don’t have the option to select drive modes like many of you guys do. 🤔

agree - Nav on the EVIC is menu 6 (where yours shows messages) ... figuring if you could turn it off then you could turn it on - I tried every option to see if there was a way to disable nav on the dash and couldnt find a way. (you can disable on the passenger screen but has pass screen has no effect on the dash) .... sorry no help .... if I learn anything ill reply.

(side note - "if equipped" .... mentioned 469 times in the 1500 owners manual ... theres only 436 pages)

Didn’t know some people only see 7 pages and others have 10-12 as stated above. I don’t have my truck yet as I just ordered mine on Monday with MD but this is interesting as well.

Can those with more pages than the 7 show what other options they see on the cluster?

I wonder what’s the fix?

hard to tell on this topic - but the manual notes differences in Base vs Premium cluster (but it doesnt state which specific menus are/not available in every topic on the menu. (from the manual)
Menu Items
  • Speedometer
  • Driver Assist Info
  • Vehicle Info (differences in this menu are listed - between base and premium)
  • Fuel Econ
  • Start/Stop Engine (somehow this is listed as if equipped)
  • Performance Features (listed as if equipped but have to believe its all RHOs)
  • Trip Info
  • Navigation (if equipped)
  • Off Road (listed as if equipped but have to believe this is all RHOs)
  • Trailer Towing (if equipped)
  • Audio
  • Messages
  • Settings
  • Speed Warning
  • Diagnostics (if equipped)

I still have to test CarPlay, Android Auto doesn't. Id be upset if it does because I'm an Android user. All my trials are still active (just got my truck exactly 1 week ago) once the trials are up considering the navigation package so I can still use the self-driving and onboard Nav. I prefer Google Maps, but having it in the cluster or seeing it in the HUD is nice. Just make the truck feel more techy and complete. So far, Android Auto is limited to only half of the display and doesn't feel as nice as onboard Nav. They probably do this on purpose, to be honest, to get you into a subscription.
