Picked up my RHO Monday night. Fighting for two days to get the satellite radio activated. None of the automated tools worked. Looks like the radio ID Sirius had from MOPAR is incorrect. Finally got a clueful person from support online this morning, they are claiming the dealer replaced the head unit.
1) Wouldn’t that have to be disclosed at time of sale?
2) If the dealer did replace it, wouldn’t they update the back end to prevent this?
3) This was an order where somebody didn’t take delivery, I know they had to do a battery replacement, and I did some reading on the software updates and my radio didn’t need it, and I’m not a huge believer in coincidences. Now I’m starting to wonder if there are “reasons” the guy didn’t take delivery, or it’s just a MOPAR database screw up. Who knows.

Come to find out the dealer service department replaced the head unit upon vehicle receipt as it didn’t power on.

So, all the Ram connected services work fine, but the Sirius services had to be manually activated as if it was a 3rd party radio. Weird, but apparently ZERO people at Sirius Guardian have an idea how to correct it.
