So I’ve recently noticed my headlights occasionally cutting out for a split second. Seems to happen more often when I’m turning sharply? Did some quick research and I think there was a recall and a software update was needed for whatever module controls the headlights for a few 2025 rams. I’m taking mine in next week to get this looked at and a possible headlight ballast going bad as well.

Anyone else have this headlight issue?

Are you positive it’s the headlight? Pretty sure depending on how you have your lights configured the fog lights will turn on for one side when turning but not the other side. Could be something to check

These trucks have “turning assistance lights” so when you make a sharp turn, you will notice additional lights come on. Maybe this is what you’re noticing? You can turn that off in the settings and see if that was it.

Just turn the fog lights on and this will stop the corner lights from activating.

Yes, I know the fog lights come on as cornering lights but it’s definitely the entire headlight on both sides that briefly cut out. I do wonder if it has something to do with the cornering light coming on though.

Here is the recall you are talking about. Says it may only effect 8 vehicles produced.
