Launch Mode After 500 Mile Break In Period

I just hit the 500 mile mark. Where is the launch mode activation or steps to activate?

Was hoping for some cool animation on the dash or fireworks for that matter but nothing once I hit the 500 miles lol.

You hit the “Christmas tree” icon next to your transfer case selector buttons.

If the fluids are up to temp, the steering wheel is straight, truck on level ground & foot firmly on brake, a “Launch Enabled” message will appear.

Then, floor the throttle, allow engine RPMs to stabilize at your preset limit (see Performance pages) & release the brake. It’s fun. The acceleration exceeded my expectations.

Most have found 2900-3000 rpm is the sweet spot. I think the default is 3500 rpm.

Note: Let the tranny cool with gentle driving at least 5 mins between launches or you will burn the tranny fluid.
