Stellantis brings back Tim Kuniskis as Ram ceo! Already making better decisions now that Tavares is out. Wouldn’t be suprised now if the V8 makes a comeback

My crystal ball says V8 is coming back and my guess with a twin turbo (optional) with possible reverse flow head (turbo in center of block). Cam in head. Center direct injection high pressure fuel rail. Next Gen V8 hemi will be the next Hellcat motor and will dominate.

This is really great news for North America and globally for that matter.

I hope you’re right! Tavares was terrible but I really would like to think they had their engineers making a more efficient V8 behind the scenes.

It was time to drop the old pushrod hemi. They were paying way too much in EPA penalties for every motor sold which they simply passed onto the consumer thus the vast price difference between RHO and TRX. I know, other factors but still the fines were a few thousand per vehicle/motor. Building a split cam with high pressure fuel rail will reduce emissions significantly. A v8 can be done. They just wanted to ride the gravy train as long they could (old CEO) and then go EV which we are not ready for yet. Tim will bring new life into the SRT brand. Nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank God. The one guy at Stellantis that I truly believe actually cares about the customers and products he promotes and sells. Welcome back Tim! 😃

100% they have to be developing a new option for the HD truck. No way they don’t offer a V8 option. Just some retuning and bam new 1500 motor

...if RAM releases a V8 RHO for 2026, Imma gonna be pissed.... 🤮 :ROFLMAO:
Man I dunno...if this truck can withstand the JB4 tuning, or PCM direct tuning, exhaust and down pipe upgrades, etc...and the power train can actually handle the power, or if not, easily upgradeable transmission components to handle the additional power, then I'm good with long term ownership of the hurricane. I mean, even stock this truck as is is pretty tough as a 4 1/2 second 0-60 monster. I've always loved turbo cars, I mean look at the GT-R for example, that damn thing can be heavily tuned as is, same with M3 and Cadillac ATS-V or CT-4 Blackwing. Insane power upgrades. Either way, this is such great news for the NA RAM brand, I couldn't be more happy about this. Now I hope he puts his foot down on the 1500 issues and drives resolution immediately. That's my biggest concern right now...these misfires...not good.

I mentioned this on other thread but I wouldn't do JB4 tune. Wait, unlock PC and have a reputable tuner do their magic. Those pressure black magic boxes are cheap for a reason, and with the misfire issues .... yea, I'd wait! :)

Yea I agree with you. Some of these magic boxes can be sketch AF. I know people that are running these on their M3 and Blackwings, no issues, but a direct PCM tune is always a better way to properly tune safely.

and... Suddenly... I am .. no longer pissed off for waiting for my RHO lol.. Lets gooo
Yea you're right, although it has become more difficult to remain patient, we must remain patient and allow these issues to be resolved. I also believe interest rates will fall come 2025, so this all may be a blessing in disguise tbh.

Good news for Stellantis and loyal customers .. He understands the north America market and I'm sure he would not come back without a commitment from the share holders to spend the money it takes to get this Tavaras mess cleaned up and back to building BA trucks and cars again.

Tim personally owns an RHO. So Im wondering what kinda love he will give towards them.
