Thank you for doing all that you can to share the information that is available to you. Above and beyond IMO.New Data Set
Figured I'd try a new way to present - this was sent to RAM last night by our owner as well. We have their attention but it will continue to take some time to turn this around.
We did hear back that there IS going to be a delay with BASE trucks without the Level 1, they are held back on something but shouldn't be terribly long - they did at least acknowledge that to say everything else should continue to pick up speed, with acknowledgement of the upside down sequencing.
I know this is frustrating and confusing but we are doing our best to keep the top dogs at Ram informed of what we're seeing, what the feedback is, etc.
This first chart shows where we are TODAY in production status', with comparison to when the vehicle was ordered.
Remember that April was only 6 days worth of ordering but yes it is disappointing to see some of our most loyal and repeat customers in that group who called us on Day 1.
We can tar & feather the people who slipped through for August & September, in our minds at least, but it's not their fault or yours.

In comparison, here's where we were 16 days ago when we first started seeing posts of other dealerships getting production status' but we were cold. You can see that ALL those D1's that we had (at one point we were up to 170 I think) were mostly rolled back. A few of the later orders did sneak into production but at one point, every single non-forged order we had from August 20th onward was immediately getting set into D1. Turns out, this was happening on some of our other trims too (not all, and I can't see it now in reverse). So clearly there was an error, that has been rolled back, and they're getting back right side up slowly but surely. I'm not promising anyone again, repeat after me, that if Adam ordered before Bob, Charlie, and David that their orders will be produced in that order. But I do hope that aside from trucks sans-L1, we are going to see this come to more of a normal expectation. Again, that expectation being that Ram is going to build them in the way that is most efficient for Ram.

That’s so Ram. Appreciate the info. Thank God you brought it to their attention. They never would have figured it out on their own and the unscheduled orders would not have been noticed or picked up until March or April or next year when they were contemplating closing down 2025.New Data Set

Ugh when I ordered my TRX in 2021 there was chip shortages so more tech that was added meant longer wait time so this time I ordered a base thinking it be a quicker build and now im waiting longer. I can’t win glad to see some flame reds moving tho definitely helps calm the mind from no momentNew Data Set

Appreciate the info @AnthonyRI - You mention that trucks without Level 1 are going to be delayed, but the list that you last posted of (16) Mark Dodge trucks in production includes at least (5) trucks that don't have Level 1... but show as in production? Just trying to make sense of it all.New Data Set

Base here as well with same thought process. Ram still hasn’t even shown what the base looks like so I have no idea what the door panels and instrument panels are going to look like.Ugh when I ordered my TRX in 2021 there was chip shortages so more tech that was added meant longer wait time so this time I ordered a base thinking it be a quicker build and now im waiting longer. @AnthonyRI When they said shouldn’t be terribly long for non-L1 delay do we have any idea of what that impact could be? Mines been at scheduled for 3 weeks and I wanted it by February for trips scheduled and have to have it before winter is over. I was curious why they hadn’t built a single non-L1 for show as the interior finish is kind of up in the air as to what the order description means for people who are ordering one.New Data Set

I would assume they threw a few non-L1’s into production and realized something was messed up as they haven’t built one before, only L1’s for demo. I don’t think in the newest e-shop update any base models were added but I could be wrong. There are 9 base models “in production” and the rest of the 62 are L1’s.I suppose that’s why my “In production 10-1” base model shows estimated delivery 12-19. But why would they start building it and let it sit if they don’t have the parts and not instead build level 1 trucks? Not complaining, just trying to figure out the logic.
PLENTY@AnthonyRI Do any of the Mark Dodge RHOs in production have the panoramic sunroof option?
@Silver RHO and @greg82 Can't say what the plan is - other than still ignore any "estimated BLANK dates" they're either boilerplate build+X or they're just bogus anyway. For the L1s that look like they're in produciton already, not sure if that's before or after whatever issue was identified in terms of supply/etc. We'll be able to tell if they get to inspection and then get surpassed by later builds getting shipped out, I'd think.I would assume they threw a few non-L1’s into production and realized something was messed up as they haven’t built one before, only L1’s for demo. I'm sorry what? They took our call, acknowledged that there was a problem, and we're seeing results.Anthony:
Reading between the lines, I wonder if RAM HEADQUARTERS/Detroit is working against you (discrimination) for some odd reason. Some can be explained to RAM as "doing what they do," but I perceive that some rift has occurred between Mark Dodge and Ram Headquarters over time.
Incompetence might explain some, but this is odd.
They should be giving Mark Dodge high praise for high sales. Your model of selling is excellent for high volume. RAM needs this as many RAM trucks languish on lots I read from even 2023 .
Instead, "passive-aggressive" moves by Sterling Heights give indications in frustrating your own customers are starting to surface.
It might be "personal" against Mark Dodge with Sterling Heights, not just "business" (Michael Corleone)
Success is often punished in strange ways.
I hope not, but I'm beginning to perceive it's "personal" to your particular dealership.
I believe these shots show pretty much what the 'base' interior is supposed to look like. The one shot shows the difference between the dash/radio areas showing the difference between the 12" and 14" displays.
