I believe these shots show pretty much what the 'base' interior is supposed to look like. The one shot shows the difference between the dash/radio areas showing the difference between the 12" and 14" displays. Thanks for sharing those pics. I had peeked at those before and I was thrown off by the moonroof still being shown. I just wonder how accurate this is. If the base does come with alcontara in the doors and the dash (glove box) and console have leather on them I'd be super happy.

What I have a hard time interpreting is the L1 comes with "Luxury Door Panel " and base is "Upgraded Door Panel". L1 console comes with "Premium full length console" and base comes with "full length console with premium armrest".

@Silver RHO it looks like a few things like the L1 having the Harman/Kardon speaker in L1 door panel and the center console/stack having the carbon fiber look trim vs a different gray trim for the base, I can't see a whole lot else that differs other than some switches, etc. Hopefully that's the way they come.

Reading between the lines, I wonder if RAM HEADQUARTERS/Detroit is working against you (discrimination) for some odd reason. Some can be explained to RAM as "doing what they do," but I perceive that some rift has occurred between Mark Dodge and Ram Headquarters over time.

Incompetence might explain some, but this is odd.

They should be giving Mark Dodge high praise for high sales. Your model of selling is excellent for high volume. RAM needs this as many RAM trucks languish on lots I read from even 2023 .

Instead, "passive-aggressive" moves by Sterling Heights give indications in frustrating your own customers are starting to surface.

It might be "personal" against Mark Dodge with Sterling Heights, not just "business" (Michael Corleone)

Success is often punished in strange ways.

I hope not, but I'm beginning to perceive it's "personal" to your particular dealership.

My dealer has 5 on order which includes one for the owner of the dealership and zero are in D1. Has nothing to do with attacking individual dealerships.

I suppose that’s why my “In production 10-1” base model shows estimated delivery 12-19. But why would they start building it and let it sit if they don’t have the parts and not instead build level 1 trucks? Not complaining, just trying to figure out the logic.

I have the same situation. Maybe since they already started building our base models they will just upgrade us to lvl 1. Lol

Does it help to hasten the process by inquiring if I’m in D status? I ordered on July 15 and it’s just been crickets but I am patient. I was always expecting Thanksgiving time frame.

You sure can, there are alot of us from April, May and June that are still D status. Sounds like they are going to try to go in order now. I ordered April 26th and still in D status so I'm skeptical. Raised these concerns with my salesman three times, went to the district rep and they still couldn't figure it out. Same song that's just what Stellantis does.

New Data Set
Figured I'd try a new way to present - this was sent to RAM last night by our owner as well. We have their attention but it will continue to take some time to turn this around.
We did hear back that there IS going to be a delay with BASE trucks without the Level 1, they are held back on something but shouldn't be terribly long - they did at least acknowledge that to say everything else should continue to pick up speed, with acknowledgement of the upside down sequencing.


I know this is frustrating and confusing but we are doing our best to keep the top dogs at Ram informed of what we're seeing, what the feedback is, etc.
This first chart shows where we are TODAY in production status', with comparison to when the vehicle was ordered.
Remember that April was only 6 days worth of ordering but yes it is disappointing to see some of our most loyal and repeat customers in that group who called us on Day 1.
We can tar & feather the people who slipped through for August & September, in our minds at least, but it's not their fault or yours.

Do you have any insight on when orders that this happens to me go back to D1 status?
Or will they skip that and go straight to production?

You seem to be by far the most knowledgeable person regarding all of this, so I do appreciate your insight!

In this particular case on the RHO it looks like there was an error that was automatically picking up EVERY SINGLE order and throwing it to D1, and assigning a build date like 14 days out that was just plain incorrect.
They seem to have found that error, corrected, and back through in what looks to be closer to normal pattern now but not of course what everyone wants (which is, their truck first)
