If your looking to keep the XM radio, go to the Sirius XM website from the mopar garage, login, and then use the chat button to ask for the 5 year long term plan

It'll be way cheaper then the month to month plan

Long Term Plan - Platinum - 5 yrs
$199.33
U.S. Music Royalty Fee
$42.66

Taxes, depending on where you are at.

That is a great deal! What is the weblink? I currently renegotiate every year to pay about $6 per month but this is like $3 a month, steal!!!

Chris

Has anyone been able to get the deal above? I used the chat button this morning and they are refusing to honor this promotion. They said that offering is “by invite only after receiving direct communication from SiriusXM”

Any one have luck with this ?

I'm actually on chat with them at this moment...was offered 12 months for $60. Just proposed the 5yr/$200 so we'll see...

Oh wow, Nice!

Is that the same as the "SiriusXM Platinum" package I wonder? I was offered the Platinum package for $48 bucks, 12 months. I need that same deal but for 5 years lol

I'm not sure if it's the same or not? They only show 2 plans on the website, "all access" and "build a plan". I'm sure I might've received something in the mail but I never look at them :ROFLMAO:

I received the same response. I told them to piss off.

They offered the music and entertainment package for 12 months at $72. I said no thanks.

Out of curiosity, what do you guys like with sirius over using say spotify or apple music? I grew up listening to sirius and always enjoyed the selection on the boneyard, octane, backspin, shade45 but feel like sirius kind of faded out of popularity with the advent of these streaming services. do you mainly like it for the "randomness" and finding new music or the facts its over satellite and usually more reliable than data streaming through the phone. Love to hear some opinions.

for me it's mainly the new music. I went 4 years of not having sirius in my mustang and only using spotify/fm radio. The radio stations here never play anything new so it was hard finding newer artists without having to listen to a bunch of random garbage.

I'm old and I like to have a radio that I don't have to hook up or search for artists/genres before I start a trip. I just get in and go and if I get bored with one sound I press a button on the steering wheel and go to my next preset. It might also be because I'm a little lazy. I'm slowly coming around though and starting to use more of the streaming services. And one less bill when you're retired is also good.:)

Currently a charter member (2002)of Sirius, purchased a lifetime membership for 475.00 (one vehicle) haven't paid Sirius a dime for 23 years now.
but also a member of Apple music which i find better for music, but Sirius has its place for talk radio

Yep! I purchased a lifetime sub in my 2009 Wrangler. Transferred it to my 2016 Wrangler. It's a beautiful thing that I wish they offered still! But I still have to pay for subs for my other vehicles. LOL

I've had Sirius since 2004. I like it, won't get rid of it. I like a few stations they have, and actually like listening to some of the "DJ's" between songs. Like someone else said, I like being able to hit a button on the wheel and run through the presets.

And, I know I'll get flamed for this, as I'm a Hair Nation and Octane guy, but I love me some Christmas music in December! Sirius has at least a dozen of them. I fill up my presets every December with mostly Christmas music. LOL

I got the 5-year Platinum plan for $255.06 (taxes included). The day before my RHO's trial expired, I logged into my SiriusXM account and opened a chat message asking about converting my month-to-month plan to Platinum 5-year prepaid - the AI assistant connected me to a live specialist. The agent first offered the SiriusXM Promo - Music & Entertainment, Monthly for 36-months, $3.15/mo. I pressed for Platinum five year prepaid, the agent offered Music & Entertainment 5-years for $190.75. I explained that I didn't want to downgrade. The agent finally offered the Platinum Long Term Plan that I bought. FWIW, I never referred to it as a promotion.
