Ran across a blow off valve adapter from Underground Tuning the other day. It looked neat so I thought I would buy one and try it out. The price and overall quality was good. The install is tedious and time consuming but doable. There are probably a lot of people that wouldn't want to tackle this install. Overall, I am happy with the product and think Underground Tuning did a good job with the blow off valve adapter. Here is a link to my video with everything you need to know about the product and how to install.

Great work up. Did you ever figure out if cel was related to this part?

From the video: “Let’s see.. oh we have check engine light, but I’m not too worried about that”

No, thanks, I’ll pass :)
The check engine light is not related to the blow off valve. Check engine light comes and goes on the 2025's for no reason. Mine is always a lost communication with bus and clears itself.

No, haven't really driven it since putting it on. It normally clears itself after a couple of days. Every time my check engine light has come on since purchase, probably 12 times, it's always a lost communication with bus code. It actually came on driving it from the lot the day of purchase. Check engine light is a common issue on the 2025's and from the forums, it's never anything serious.

This is ridiculous.
I don't have a CEL.
  • Don’t modify a vehicle that has a CEL (take it to the dealer and fix it or return it).
  • Don’t post videos or ads with a CEL and expect the product to succeed.

Just a dumb question....but....does it make a difference that this is on a Limited and not an RHO with the open air induction intake? Since the ECU is "finnicky" and all.....I'd imagine it might affect the air flow algorithms a bit.....

It definitely does. Do not install a BOV on ur RHO.

It should be fine on the RHO despite the haters on the thread. I am by no means affiliated with the manufacturer but not afraid to try things. Use your own judgment with this or any mod. Have fun and enjoy your new RHO!

The CEL right after installation might be due to the fact that the battery was disconnected for installation. Mine popped up on my ‘19 Rebel anytime I disconnected my battery, and my RHO did it after a dead battery.
