Good morning everyone,

I’m starting this thread as I have searched the forum and haven’t really seen any posts about this warning coming up, unless I overlooked it lol.

This morning as soon as I turned the truck on, I received this warning light on the cluster but I have no CEL on. All my sensors and settings seem to be working fine. Blind spot is working beautifully as well. What exactly is the warning light illumination in question?

Has anyone else had this come up? Could it be battery related? I checked and my voltage is between 13.5-13.7 every day. Not sure if that’s too low that can cause that warning light to come up.

Thanks everyone and hopefully it’s something dumb that I don’t need to go to the dealer for.

I have the same warning on mine but it didn't appear until a day after the CEL appeared. Truck has been at the dealer for almost a week. They diagnosed a faulty 3 way coolant pump that needs to be replaced. They attributed the 'warning light illumination' message to the CEL and said once the repair is made the CEL and the message will resolve go away. I'll post updates when I get the truck back.

Hmm that’s weird. I had my CEL earlier this week but the dealer cleared it and fixed the problem. I wonder what mine can mean

So there’s a warning light for the warning lights? 🤔

I’m guessing it’s the battery. I checked earlier and saw it’s lowering from the 13.5-13.7 earlier this morning. Shouldn’t be this low right? After using the truck all day

My was sitting at 12.6-12.8 during 11 hours snow storm trip. Let's just say I was sweating 🤣
Probably would have never payed that much attention to it but since so many people were having battery issues on forum I didn't like that. Now two months later after that trip and no battery issues at all

I’ve had the same message pop up a couple of times with it going away on its own. No CEL yet and no major issues to report after 2700 miles. Hoping it’s just one of those gremlins that’ll work itself out. Haven’t checked battery voltage when it comes up though, will do that if it pops up again.

I had this pop up on the way to the grocery store last night. By the time I got in the truck to go back home it was gone. I’m just gonna pretend it didn’t happen

Was the battery at that voltage while driving??

Yes. I used to have issues where during first drive of the day battery runs 14.5 volts but if I made second trip that day it would start dropping 0.1 every 5 minutes or so until I finish my drive it could be anywhere 13.5-13.8. when I took 400 miles trip and got stuck in snow storm by end of my trip the display was showing my battery always running at 12.6-12.8 volts. The truck started normal next day and showed 14.5 during first drive and again I'm 2+ months past that trip and no battery issues at all.

Interesting, maybe just the cold weather zapped it. Glad it all worked out well though.

Had this pop up today before leaving work. Shut off to grab something i forgot in my office and came back, started it and it was gone. Has not returned. No CEL at all. Will check for any stored DTCs tomorrow.

Just had the same. Running voltage was about 14.1. After a few errand stops, it went away. I'm chalking it up to low battery voltage since it was sitting in the garage for a couple of days without being taken out.

Hey guys, got mine about 3 weeks ago. Love the truck but have had this message pop up about 5 times… Think I’m gonna have the dealer check it out, what do you think?

If you do, let us know. Seems like a common issue. I haven't seen it since but I have been driving it more often too. Gut tells me it's a battery voltage thing but would be good to confirm

I'm prepped to place the truck and battery immediately on a charger/tender immediately once I get home after picking up the truck to get ahead of any battery issues. Now I wonder if I should just let it be in the event battery issues do arise so that a battery replacement could be had sooner rather than later.

Just don't want to be without a vehicle for long periods while a service department pokes at it.
