The guy destroying the legacy of the company is out.

Not to be a d***, but who is we? I'm glad he is out, he fkd the company.
I know I’ve voiced my opinion both verbally and written to the company. Been loyal to the brand for almost 20 years and watching him destroy it has made me almost switch.

I'm glad you did that. I was seriously getting close into leaving the brand. I'm like you, been RAM loyal for 8 years. It's a step in the right direction

He's Portuguese and was the CEO of Fiat. He always hated Jeep and Ram and in my opinion, purposely tried to destroy the Brands. This is very very good news for Ram fans.

Time to make a stock purchase!!

NO CEO is ever going to purposefully destroy the assets of a company he is working for. His pay is tied to company performance. He might make poor decisions that have negative effects, but I don’t believe he is financially suicidal.

He was CEO of PSA (Peugeot), not Fiat, which was the larger partner of the PSA/Fiat merger that produced Stellantis. He then became CEO of the new company.

While I don't think he purposely tried to destroy anything, I think he knew European markets decently, and thought he could just use the same template/lines of thinking on American brands. He failed to recognize the issues with this early on, and kept pushing, blaming the management team(s) in the USA and others, until performance was so bad it almost looked like he was purposely destroying the brands.

My only hope is they get someone in there that recognizes what Americans want and cater to those appetites.
