Window Tint

What % did you go with and if you have the Pano did you get it tinted as well?

Living in the Southern California desert as a guy who shaves his head (not much left on top, looks better Mr. Clean smooth). I'm going with the best nano-ceramic I can get. Maximum heat and UV, no tint on the windshield and front sides, and limo dark on the back sides & rear windows. The sunroof gets maximum dark too. I don't want to look like a used "Strike Anywhere" matchstick because I got fried from my sunroof...

How much more is ceramic tint? Any downsides besides cost?

I just did 5% all around and 5% brow. I don’t have the pano.

Yes, I did ceramic tint on my windshield with 40% I think it was and you see slightly wavy lines or blur in certain areas and after coming back to ask about it I was told this is a common issue with the ceramic tints and they offered to replace it for free with a regular tint because regular tint doesn’t do that.

They said it’s the way the ceramic reacts during install stretch/heat and normal tint doesn’t do that.

Wasn’t super obvious but once you see it, you can’t unsee it

Ceramic tint used to interfere with satellite radio like sirius. Don't know if it still does. I have never used sat radio and never will lol. Spotify FTW.

Paid $425 for ceramic 5% for front, back, and rear windows. Normal tint would have been about $200 less. I’ll know in summer if ceramic made sense.

I used to be a regular tint guy until I switched to ceramic tint. Ceramic tint made lots of difference, especially I park my vehicles outside. I'm sure you will love it.
