Just pinged my tint guy who’s amazing. I never have gotten ceramic before and I noticed that his shop does it. They use XPel Fusion Plus. Claim it lasts for 9 years and is warranted for 4. Anyone have any experience with XPel? Suggestions?

I have that tint and PPF and love it!!

I have it on the front half of my truck, headlights, mirrors and up the windshield along with all the black lower painted sections. It’s amazing what it can protect. I ceramic coated the entire truck with feynlab as well.

I don’t know about the fusion plus, but I got the XPEL Prime XR plus and I LOVE it. The heat rejection is out of this world.

Gonna try Xpel for the first time and my understanding is this is the best ceramic they offer, correct? Still hesitant to leave llumar.

The XR Prime plus is the best they offer, the one I got. I could not be happier. It is fucking fantastic. Could not recommend it enough.

Did anyone get their front windshield with clear tint? I am thinking of doing all windows to include the sun roof.

I like Llumar Formula 1 better than top tier Xpel…the Xpel glue substraight is not as clear as Llumar. Per the spec charts, they both have similar heat rejection qualities.

That being said, I’d rather deal with a fantastic installer who uses Xpel than an average installer who uses Llumar.

I’m an XPEL fanboy but you do make a great point, the installer is just as important as the product being installed.
