Anyone have an RHO with no issues?

I appreciate this! I’m really leaning toward the camp now of not taking delivery. After the member who’s died after 50 miles… I really want the truck, but questioning the safety of my
Family, long term reliability, the headaches and inconvenience of issues do occur..
I do assume most have not had issues. Seems like those that get the truck really love it. I do want a new truck and if I don’t go the RHO route I’ll go with a raptor. I’m just not as excited about a raptor as I am the RHO because the RHO is a superior vehicle in majority of categories. I just don’t know if the lack or reliability is worth it for me.
I think I’m also hoping someone convinces me to just take delivery of the RHO! Ha!
I would argue at this point, with this amount of anecdotal data, is a "perceived lack of reliability"

It’s absolutely perception. It’s hard to track how the release of the RHO differs from the release of the TRX, or 2017 raptor, or any other vehicle with a newly introduced power train.

I’ve tried to search it, and have found issues everywhere, with foreign and domestic vehicles in early model years.

Well I’ll tell you this, the is no comparison between a Ram and Ford. If you haven’t before, drive a Ram. The interior is superior , the exhaust sounds better, the ride is better and let’s be honest, it’s also better looking. :). I think you’re being a little too gun shy.

Ultimately it’s your choice, if you go with the Raptor, you will always second guess your decision when you see an RHO ;)

Good luck either way.

Highly suggest you go to the Ford Raptor forum and read up. It is flooded with “issues” as well. That’s what people do on forums. My guess is you’ve just been focused on this one while getting excited about your new RHO. Best of luck in your decisioning.

I appreciate the insight from both of you. I currently own a 2018 1500 sport with the 5.7.
It does feel weird to me to think about buying a ford. I haven’t driven a raptor before, just standard f-150. I like the ram better in every way. Raptors look great, but I prefer the RHO and TRX look.

My estimated delivery date is January 16. I suppose I’m still figuring out what I’ll do. Again, thanks for the insight. Hopefully I see some additional success stories while waiting.

Best of luck in your decision. In the same boat, but 90% out.
