Curious how it will compare to our 19 Laramie MPG wise.

Only meaningful tow video I can find is below. Not an HO motor and not RHO. The only way the I6 can compete against the v8 torque for MPG is to keep cruise control off and try to keep motor out of boost to save some fuel, and use low end torque offered by having separate intake/exhaust cams sticks with VVT. Considering the size of the RHO, weight, tires and being a boosted motor don't expect it to beat the hemi with towing with respect to MPG.

TFL said they are going to release their tow video this weekend. I haven't gotten my truck but have been eyeing up the Timber Grove airbags to help with the squat since its prob going to be significant.

That’s a concern of mine too. I wonder why the tow rating is so low. The engine , trans and frame are strong enough. Guessing it’s the tires and soft suspension.

If you tow near rated Lbs you will need a WDH.

Well I can say this much about my 2023 Limited Hemi, I absolutely HATED towing my enclosed single axle trailer with probably about 1000lbs in it. My truck, hauling from Denver to DFW, was absolutely horrible. It had barely enough power to get up hills in Colorado, I would floor it and the truck would never go. Keep in mind, I’m coming from an F250 which is a beast, but I expected the RAM HEMI to perform better, but it was such a let down. Never again. The I6 is so much more powerful!

That’s interesting. I guess we never towed in the mountains so I can’t compare. We towed our Trans Am from Illinois to Texas on a uhaul trailer and no issues. And we use it to tow our 4500 lb boat without issue. We average about 12-13mpg towing.

Guess I’ll find out 😂
