What's new

Dash camera.

Somebody mentioned the Fitcamx earlier and I've been looking into that for the past few minutes. Seems descent and looks OEM. Read a few TRX guys using it and had no complaints...

I have one on my current ram. No issues at all 2+ years now.

I'm going with FitCamx, but it doesn't look like the 2025 1500 Series has dropped yet...

This is what I got for the RHO.
I was originally in Florida, but the sun and heat were ruining the dash cams I bought from Amazon.

I've had 3 BlackVue's in 3 different vehicles. I hated each one. They have issues connecting with very slow downloads, and I'm an IT dude so I don't believe its user error. My next camera in the RHO will most likely not be a BlackVue.

Phone App wise, they can be a little quirky but it is about the same as wireless connecting to a GoPro or Insta360.

You need both the phone app and Windows/Mac Viewer to use all the features. Phone app for camera settings, other small stuff. The Window Viewer to better review what has been recorded and other data like map, timeline, histogram helps to find things that stand out. I don't mess with any of the Cloud stuff. https://blackvue.com/app-viewer/

The one thing that would be nice is if the video could be used like an action cam. Everything is recorded in 1 minute files and there is a 3-5 second overlap on each. This makes them annoying to piece together. Any who, the GoPro is better for action stuff and the Insta360 for 360 stuff.
