Did You Hear That? 👀 RHO Exhaust Options are HERE!!

@Raptor2RHO should be this week.
Swapping middle pipes is pretty easy.
I went ahead and installed my MRT Extreme this morning. I am perfectly happy with the sound improvement, but I can see what you are referring to between 80-85mph on the interstate. I don't do a ton of interstate driving so, for me, it's not that big a deal. Normal driving around town and even normal highway driving (60-65mph) is pretty subdued until you stomp on it. The BRAAAPPPP under full throttle when changing gears is worth the price of admission by itself.

Otherwise, a deeper tone that is still not at all over the top in my opinion... and can't beat the price compared to a full cat back where you will spend $2000-$3000 plus. @MRT Performance

Magnaflow must have lost their damn minds charging $3000. They aren't reinventing the wheel here. The price makes sense if they figured out how to make the engine sound like it has two more cylinders...

We could’ve done a full cat-back, but after the emissions hardware, the stock system is basically straight pipe aside from that big, bulky mid-muffler. That’s the real choke point. Replacing the rest of the piping? That’s just swapping tube for tube, and charging you thousands for no real gains.

Plus, the majority of RHO owners we talked to before development said the same thing — they wanted to keep the OEM tips.

We’re not here to tax RHO owners for flash with no function. The RHO Mid Exhaust cuts the restriction right where it matters, letting those turbos spool faster and sound mean doing it — without the $2-3k price tag.

Is this similar to either the sport or baja exhaust tone in the raptor? I wish RHO had a button for different modes as I use it quite a bit.

Definitely more akin to Baja mode on our Raptors. I miss the "R" button too, trust me. Was nice to jump in and just hit that button on the steering wheel to kill auto stop/start and instantly have it in all my favorite settings. I drove with Baja exhaust mode most of the time, so I can confidently say it's closer to that than Sport exhaust. I do also miss the rev matching throttle blips on my Raptor, but I'm absolutely loving my RHO!

How about the trail rated? Have the back orders been cleared on those? I’ve got one ordered since last week. Just wondering.

Our Trail Rated systems are currently in production. We encountered a minor issue in the muffler production queue, but everything is back on track now. We're operating at full capacity and anticipate shipping out all current Trail Rated orders early next week. We appreciate your patience and can't wait for you to experience the upgrade!

Installed the MRT Extreme yesterday, 80 mile round trip interstate drive. No Drone. I did hear a slight drone driving into a 40mph head wind when it shifted from 7th to 8th and was lugging up a slight incline without shifting back down to 7th.

Have you try 80-85mph?
Still waiting trail rated middle pipes..

It took a little longer than we expected, but rest assured, our RHO Trail Rated mufflers are our #1 priority right now. We're working around the clock to get them out as quickly as possible and expect to have completed systems ready for packaging by Tuesday afternoon.

Sorry for the dumb question but what makes them trail rated compared to the stock system you are currently selling?

Not a dumb question at all! The Trail Rated system is our current offering with a dual muffler setup, designed to provide a more refined exhaust note and improved performance. On the other hand, the Extreme system is a straight-piped setup with no mufflers, giving you a louder, more aggressive tone. Both are great options, but the Trail Rated system gives you a more balanced sound while the Extreme is all about that bold, raw exhaust growl.

Hoping someone can help chime in here. It’s hard to tell the volume output on these options through video. I live in an apartment complex and don’t want to be annoying. If I remote start you can barely hear the truck start through the second floor windows. How much louder is the trail rated and extreme versus stock?

I have the Extreme, and you will definitely hear the truck remote start through your second floor windows. 😁

Cold starts are not discrete with this setup, but I do love it!

On the Extreme, it’s a much deeper tone and only louder on initial cold start. After the 60 seconds or so of warm up it idles down. Nothing like a mustang crack.

Thanks for the feedback! The trail rated is probably what I’m looking for.
