February order updates!

Why is the In Production to Delivery date 3 months or longer? Seems like an awfully long time? Is that normal? Or is that just an error on the tracking website?
I agree, I can't wait for 3+ months for a vehicle !!! Got a buyer that I'm probably gonna loose cause I can't sell my truck and walk for three months !! I'm to the point where I don't even care what color it is !!!!!!

I’ve wondered if it would be wise to put a 2nd on order for this very scenario you describe. I haven’t done it and probably won’t, but does buy you some insurance against a prolonged delivery.

I am curious, what happens when the new model years are announced and you have an open order already in? Would they still build you as a 2025, or change your sticker to a 2026 if that years orders are opened? Would you stay locked on your build order pricing even if the 2026 prices change?
There should be plenty of trucks available due to first orders falling through our people walking away. I had to walk away from my June build because one became available in December. I got a call last month that my build arrived and I turned it down. I would start looking online... you may find your exact build already available

Still pretty low on RHO inventory, and it makes matters worse when I get selective of which color and options I’d prefer. I conducted a rather thorough nationwide search and found a couple that were close enough, but we couldn’t come to terms on pricing for a stock unit. I ended up placing an order, and hope I can be fortunate enough to enjoy some of the shorter lead times I’ve seen reported here.

Tracker updated over night. I’m in production now!!

Nothing scheduled as of yet….

Ordered from Mark Dodge…

Hopefully I start to see some progress soon!

Gotcha...I'm a firm believer that I'm going to get what I want when I'm spending my money!! Unfortunately all these tariffs and hold ups this administration is doing may prolong some of these orders. Hopefully you get yours sooner than later.

Unfortunately that is NOT the case !! I searched Nationwide and only found 3 "close" matches that are like 2000 miles away !!!

Dang in less than a month too, thats impressive.

Does anyone think theyre prioritizing the Higher End Level 1's over the base models ?

That’s a great question. I wonder if Ram’s assembly line has the flexibility to switch between L1 and L0 models on the fly, or if they have to produce them in batches. If it’s the latter, a base model might take longer to be built as it seems likely that the lower-trim versions are less commonly selected (pure speculation on my part).

I know mine is a January order, but it's pretty close. Seems like they are moving them pretty quick now. Mine has been offloaded from rail. Just waiting on a transport truck to deliver to dealership. Should be there by the end of the week...
You're lucky I'm almost a month before yours and mine has been built ready to ship for weeks now with no update

Interesting thing happened today. I found almost my exact build on a lot near me, used, with less than 2k miles. Since I ordered mine without ever having the opportunity to drive one, I took some time this morning to go check it out.

First drive was so dang much fun! What an experience! The engine and exhaust don’t sound like a Hemi, but had its own character that I loved. Reminded me more of sport bikes I’ve had in the past actually. Similarities in engine sound, snappy gearbox, and up/downshift exhaust blipping. I can’t explain it, but videos just don’t do it enough justice. I’m perfectly satisfied with it the way it is. Really brought my excitement up a few notches. I’ll admit I was giggling like a little kid the entire test drive. So dang much fun on and off pavement.

Unfortunately, their used price is still about $4k over what I agreed to on a brand new order, so I had to walk. That was hard to do, but tough to make sense of spending more (especially $4k) on a used vehicle over patiently waiting for my order to arrive.

edit: Im in no way affiliated with the dealer, but happy to pass along info if anyone is tired of the waiting game and wants to have it now. Just PM me if interested. It’s a beautiful truck, I’m just going to elect to wait on my order.

I know you've been nervous with the many reported issues to the point where you were debating canceling your order. After test driving that RHO today, are you sold on keeping your order?

There’s nothing not to like about the truck and driving experience. For me, the concern is whether I can trust the vehicle as a daily driver and travel vehicle for our family. That part is still pretty questionable based on all of the feedback we’re reading here and elsewhere. It is tough to turn a blind eye to that fact.

Completely understand!

My first order from January 3 is coming in next week from a local dealer here in Phoenix. I am grateful that I found this site and Jim Glover Ram. The dealer here won't budge from sticker even a penny. Saved over 11K from Jim Glover, but have to wait another six weeks or so. Hopefully, it doesn't take any longer than the first one.
