I just had an EGR power tonneau cover put on my RHO, and the Go Rhino Sports bar with power actuated lights. I went with 6 of the Dynamic Diode SSR combo white lights with backdrop colors.

To install the sports bar I decided to mount it to the tonneau cover T Slot track, which turned out rather nice. The tonneau cover is amazing and uses the factory Ram key fob to open and close it (hard drum style). The Sports bar sits up about 1.25” higher than it would if not mounted in the T slot. The only problem I have is the power actuated bar is a 3 way switch and they couldn’t figure out how to use the 1 way dash auxiliary switches. I left them unhooked for now until I can figure out a relay or something to use the aux switches to fold the actuator up/down. I just am not sure I want to add a 3 way switch to the clean interior if I can avoid it.

One last thing if anyone is looking for a power tonneau cover I recommend the EGR Power Rolltrac. It can actually work with the Go Rhino sports bar mounted in the c-channel of the sports bar (basically the sports bar mounts to bed rail, the tonneau cover slides in the c track and sits on the bottom mounting plate of the sports bar. But I decided to go with the mount onto the T slot of the tonneau cover. Anyway, it’s a slick looking setup and I am certain I was the guinea pig for this setup on the RHO.

Will post pictures if any Is interested when I get it back from getting the windows tinted.

@Phil Hergutz do you have any pictures of the EGR cover? Did you install or have it done? I'm also in StL and waiting on my RHO.

Thanks
I can get you pictures. I had Auto Trim Design in Farmington do it.

Looks great. Are you happy with it? If you don't mind how much was it and what did they charge for the install? PM me if you'd rather not post. Thanks!

Part number on the chase rack?

They are like $2800 for the electric and about $2000 for the manual roll away.

Have been looking at this tonneau cover. EGR said they didn’t have one for the RHO yet, however assumed it would fit just fine as model 2024. No issues with fit?

I spoke to their actual Tech because when I inquired I got an email back saying “they don’t have it for my vehicle”. I called and talked to Adam I believe who assured me they did, and he was correct as they didn’t have any problems installing it and all wiring was proper for the install and it fit well.

Part number on the chase rack?
Wider 911000T - R130539
Narrow 918000T - R115949
The receipt says 911600T which I believe is the part number for the rack only without the Power actuator. I believe the wider one is the part number with the Actuator.

I paid about $2895 for the cover and $250 for the install. Best $250 I have ever spent 🤣
Actually, I just checked my receipt the labor for install of the sports bar was $250, the labor for install on the EGR Tonneau cover was only $100

$100 install for EGR, $250 install for the sports bar. I am very happy with it. HOWEVER, there are a couple things I don’t love.
1.) in order to get the sports bar to fit onto of the cover they had to pull the sides in as the Tslots were to narrow without doing so.
2.) Putting it on top of the cover raises it about 2 inches. This then looks a little high from profile view, the good thing about this is it doesn’t block the back break/tail light or camera. So it has some benefits.
3.) Mounting it on the cover also means it has a bigger gap between the cab and the sports bar than usual, meaning you can’t mount it as close to the cab. So the profile view if you are looking at it and looking for it you notice the bigger space.
4.) The better way to do it might be as Go Rhino is designed and that is where the spots bar mounts to the bed rails, and the cover slides over the top of the bottom mounting plate, so essentially the cover sits on the mounting plate of the bar. This would make a small gap I was worried about in the tonneau cover as it would sit 1/4” higher for that 2’ and could leak more. I didn’t want silicone on the edges of the cover but if someone wanted it, that might resolve the potential gap installing it that way.
5.) I HATE that they used a 3 way switch for the power actuator. Which means in order to install the switch to put lights up/down, you have to drill a new hole in dash for the 3-way switch. I opted not too, and am still trying to come up with a creative way to use the AUX switches. Which may just be a relay, not sure yet. They could have designed it to be a 1 way switch to use the aux switches…

That is great! Thank you for the information and Happy Holidays!

If anyone is looking to wire the 3 way switch to the in dash Aux ports, here is what I believe you will need to do. Keep in mind I have NOT verified this, but Steve from TRX forums was kind enough to provide this (he hasn’t done it yet either), but it really looks like it will work.

Is the bar taller than the antenna? Wondering if I could even get it in my garage

It is a little bit, if you mounted it below the cover you could shave off 2”
