Hi guys,

I have a rebel build in my head and comes out to around 73k

I know a base RHO is around that price BUT I would lose some options I really wanted like the pano roof and the ventilated front seats / rear heated seats (i promised those to my daughter lol)

I did see there is a really good dealer on here who is offering some great incentives. Essentially 10k off level 1 which would then put me around the same price as the rebel.

My only concern is the extra width of the RHO - this will be my daily and I do have road meetings for work sometimes so parking could be an issue.

What do you guys think? I plan to keep the truck long term so I don't want to get the rebel and then say I SHOUL HAVE....

Thanks everyone :)

There is 10-11k off from the dealers here. If you get the level 1 from one of them, you come in around the same price point and get ventilated seats in the back and a bunch of other stuff. You could get the pano roof too. Yes ol girls got some wide hips, but i havent found it to be a pain to drive around. As far as parking goes, I had a GMC Sierra before this and always parked it out away from folks so parking is the same for me.

A quick build on ram and my dumb ass doing math, the RHO with just the level 1 and the pano roof would be about 83,600 BEFORE discounts and incentives.

RHO is a special vehicle. Rebel is…well…not so much. You can go over the Pros and Cons all day to rationalize your choice. BUT I would argue that these type of vehicles provoke an emotional response.

Test drive both and see which one makes you happier. Obviously the performance between the two will be night and day with the SO vs the HO. Honestly the width hasn't been much of an issue for me so far so that's kind of a moot point (for me at least). If you're going to get an RHO...get the Level 1 package. Yes it's more expensive but it's worth it for everything it adds.

Lastly....you're on an RHO forum...so I think we may be a bit biased in giving advice. Should you get an RHO? YES!!!! But again...if YOU can swing it...test drive both and then weigh the options accordingly.

lol good advice. Yes I would like one with a level 1. Does the level 1 come with the pano roof or that is something i'd have to add as well?

Thanks and sickkkkkk truck :)

If you like the Rebel, you should be able to find even more discounts on that as compared to the RHO. The Rebel is a fine choice for the right customer. You don’t have to get into a RHO at $73k just to get those features you want.

The same dealers who will do $10-11k off of a RHO will have sweet deals for you on a Rebel as well. I’d personally price them both out if I were in your shoes.

This is true and I will likely go down this path. I just think knowing myself, if I go with the rebel I'll always think I should have got the rho... especially when I'm now use to the rebel and I see an rho or raptor on the road.

Being I plan to keep it long term my gut is saying get the special truck.

IMO-I had a 21 Rebel (loaded), liked it a lot. I was thinking a new Rebel x loaded. However, I went with the RHO and absolutely LOVE the RHO. Hands down, get Level 1 RHO. I can’t believe I even contemplated the two. Size wise is negligible. Features and performance of the RHO is far more enjoyable. The only thing I miss, a little, is my Ram Boxes, but it’s been an easy adjustment with a couple of simple containers from Lowe’s. Just my thoughts, do what’s right for you.

I have a two part series compairing 25 Rebel to 25 RHO.... feel free to check out
Oh i did lol I loved it. We even talked on YouTube about building the standard output in the rebel to being stronger than the HO. I just keep coming back to the fact that I'm trying to convince myself I'd be happy with the rebel BUT really wanting the RHO more lol

Yeah it all depends how you going to use it. My friend actually backed out of rho and went with rebel because he does 20k+ miles a year and parking definitely would of been an issue. I think his rebel was MSRP right at 70k so just under yours but he got it for 55k and some change out the door.

Does the 6 inches wider really make much of a difference with parking? I gotta think the Rebel is like 95% size of the rho lol same length. Just 6 inches wider.

But yea regardless of which truck I end up with I'd just get use 2 backing in /pulling through or simply parking in the back of lots.

Let's just say it depends where you are because here it's a city problem. Most garages are 6'7 and the painted line on street for parking length wise exactly truck length and wide part your tires are right on line so it looks like you stick out.

Oh that makes sense. We'll if I get the rho I'll just have to borrow the wife's jeep wrangler from time to time =)

This is exactly what we do. She even reminds me when we get ready to leave, parking sucks at XXXXXX, we should take the suv.

No bias here lol good point

You need to test drive both of them

If you can swing it.....get what you REALLY WANT. Don't convince yourself to settle. You'll be happier in the long run if you just bite the bullet.....unless of course you're concerned about fuel economy. In which case....get a Cybertruck

Here is my advice. Get the RHO with Level 1 from Mark Dodge and have all the things you want for the price of your Rebel build. A Rebel is never going to make you smile like a RHO. Life is short. Enjoy it to the max. Good luck! Report back when you have placed your order.
