Is this even possible to bypass.

There are a lot of instances where I have to move the truck without actually being on a road.
The truck will not engage drive unless my seatbelt is on.

Any help appreciated.

Can't you just leave it buckled behind you?

Sure, for longer periods where I am in and out of the truck numerous times.
But for something like moving a car to get into the garage, getting in and out two to three times, this is just a little inconvenient.
Wondering if this is a software thing that can be bypassed?

I’ve done this before but this gets rid of the annoying beeping. Not sure if it will help your situation..

I would be pissed slow rolling down section lines hunting with this BS

Did this get rid of the chime 'forever' or is it needed to be repeated after each drive cycle? I will definitely be testing it out

The procedure isn't required after each drive cycle; it disables the chime until you perform it again, at which time the chime will be enabled.

Do this to all my trucks since I back up trailers etc … thanks for sharing the video … last time was in 2020 for me

I have a 2/25 build date and just tried this. It doesn’t work.

I used Tazer in my previous Jeep....I see they had one for the TRX but unsure if it works on the RHO with new electrical architecture.... reach out and see what they say. I can tell you their products are well known, do some research and see. Tazer DT – ZAutomotive https://share.google/g9EPb8QJ3VgwUbiEq

I’ll save you the trouble. The Tazer DT does not work on the RHO, and the RHO Tazer has been “in development” for about a year with no sign of delivering anytime soon.

Seat belt extender similar to the attached should in theory work as it always stays buckled in the RHO’s buckle. Ordered a set that arrive today, will let you know if they work.
