Level Kits/Wheels Setup

How do you know which leveling kit we will need for the RHO? Foutz has 1.5" 2" and 2.5" so which one makes the damn thing level from factory?
I'm going with 1.5 because I'm comparing TRX heights...anything above 1.5 seems to lift the front end too much IMO.

Changing the tires will bring a mpg worst than stock trx, I really like the 37's but their 15-20lbs per tire heavier than stock. Unless we can find a 37" tire 60-70 lbs we lose a significant amount of mpg. FYI stock tire weight is 62lbs
Stock weight of the Goodyear Territory AT LT325/65R18 is 64.19 lbs. Jump that up to a 37", Goodyear has either 17 or 20 inch tires in a 12.5 configuration to support 37, that equals 79 lbs.

Tires run various weights in 37's, here's a list I found, most are accurate, some slight 1-2 lbs variances on few, but gives you an idea of weight to make a decision. Personally right now, I'm running 37x12.50R20 Nitto Ridge Grappler (weight 81.5 lbs) with Fuel Clash Wheels at 39 lbs, so my next tire will go most like to BFgoodrich All Terrain TA KO2 37X12.50R17 (weighing in at 73 lbs). It's not a huge difference, but nearly 10 lbs of inertia removed per wheel, so I'll take it. If you want a wheel under 30 lbs, you'll have to go Forged, but you will absolutely pay for it.

I'm all for level, but I think I'm going to stick with 35s.

My 10 year old, is already going to need a step stool... ...and isn't the most graceful child I've known.

Don't need a Traumatic Brain Injury from getting into my new truck...

Heard that! 🙌

37s would look great. I want to be able to occasionally fit in garages with 7' clearance. If no level is needed should it stay under that with 37s, otherwise I will stick with 35s. I look forward to some of you guys figuring all of this out so I can learn from you. Thanks in advance.

My opinion, yes stick with 35’s otherwise I believe it’s too tall beyond your 7ft garage, at least I think, my buddy said his TRX was after he switched to 37’s, could totally be wrong though, actually just don’t listen to anything I say lol 😂

What can be unburdened by what has been bro. 🤙🏼😂

Thanks for that. I feel even more unburdened now.

R17 oh well close enough lol

TRX owners out there that put 37s on - did you feel the need to add in heavier steering components?? Did you have any premature wear? I never did this with my raptor but when they came out with the 37s package, the engineers at ford made quite a few changes. They didn’t end up doing anything to the steering components, I don’t expect the RAM needs it anyways, but worth the debate. Plus I’ve put 75k miles on my 18 raptor with ANRKY 22 with 37s and I’m definitely going to be needing to replace some knuckles or could be my CVs. I’ve got a nice knock when I turn my wheel from a standstill.

I go back and forth on putting 37s on. They look great, but it’s changed the vehicle dynamics for my 18 raptor, not necessarily in a bad way, but it’s a trade off nonetheless. The biggest being the mpg decrease.

I will go to 37s but keep in mind if the speed rating is important to you then its a 35s. Only Falken Wild Peak A/T and Goodyear Wrangler Territory have the 'T" speed rating in the 35 and I'm not seeing a 37 with the "T" speed rating. Only really matters if you want to go 118 mph without the liability of having the wrong tire.

Good point. Does the stock tire come with a T speed rating? Man this whole time I’ve been running well over 100mph on my 37” Nitto Grapplers, oops…lol.

Yes the stock Goodyear tire is a "T" rated tire. Just something to think about.

Nitto Grappler 37 is a Q rating good for 99 mph per Nitto.

If anyone that hasn’t had a Trx and was wondering about leveling kits and 37s here is a little help. My TRX setup. Geiser springs, 20 inch wheels , 37 inch ridge grapplers, add front and rear bumpers, kibbetech Billet aluminum upper control arms. Geiser springs levels the truck and gets rid of the sag when hauling my dirtbike to the track or hauling my giant Side by side on 44 inch tires. Geisers gets rid of sag and the nose dive when braking and rides way better when not towing anything. Those spring collars or perches make the truck ride shitty some are better than others I would get geisers or eibachs. Will do the same mods to my RHO

How much lift on the front do these springs have? And the rears too?

Wait the site says 3” front and 1.5” rear. Damn! This is better than Eibach, if so, why?
