This does sound good. It looks like you don't have to actually cut the OEM exhaust up either...but not sure how hard it is to remove the shock absorber to get things in/out.

If someone does install this I'd love to hear what they did/how difficult it was. I don't like cutting the OEM parts up in case I want to resell.

I know I know. I keep telling them. I will try to shoot some videos with mine this weekend.
I kinda thought the same thing. I think standard video helps link the sound and motion.

Definitely sounds better than I was expecting....but the cost is pretty steep for the XMod system. Nice that you get all the options with it to mix and match how you want but realistically how often are you gonna change it up? I'd rather pick the combination I want up front and then if I want to change it later have the option to buy the additional pipes rather than pay for all of them at once. I like the sound...but....it's somewhat cost-prohibitive

Yeah my exact thought for few months already and what makes it hard to pull a trigger because when I look at it, seems on full exhaust you replacing 80% of it from one pipe to another pipe. I'm still waiting to see if someone comes up with different mid pipes that I like or most likely will be just running stock.

I like MRT but I don't like that I have to cut the stock exhaust up. I wish they made their mid-pipe such that there was an option to connect right to the output of the cats. Magnaflow sounds amazing but I agree I am not sure I want to drop $2k-$5k for an exhaust.

The MRT is literally one cut, so it’s truly no big deal if you wanted to put the clunky and restrictive can back on the truck. The rest is all clamped just like this or most any other cat back system. Just throwing this out there to clear up any misconceptions. I had Magnaflow on my M3 and loved it, but no way I’m dropping $3,000 for all this modularity. Nobody is swapping out pipes on the regular to change the sound of their exhaust IMO.

These two exhaust systems sound great, but I'm probably going to wait until EVERYONE releases their RHO exhaust systems to decide on which one to go with...

If I'm dropping $2K+, it's gotta be EXACTLY what I want.

Keep in mind about the MRT system is that it’s been out for months and there’s still literally no outside WOT acceleration videos of the exhaust from the company or owners. Says a lot imo
I haven’t made a video of mine, but I’ve definitely been opening the back window just to listen to it when I do WOT runs. Glorious! 😎

Do people realistically store their take off exhausts? Why?

This is where I'm at. Let's see what the full menu looks like.
