I have for my previous cars. Dealers often want the car to be stock and won’t compensate you for mods (sometimes they will even give you less if the car is not stock). Better off putting back on oem equipment and selling the exhaust kit to someone else.

Magnaflow sounds like it has good potential, but I’m not sure why there’s so many videos of just trucks idling- we need to hear these under load driving, they all sound like shit when sitting there revving, sorry.

Since they are high strung turbo motors, we need to hear them under load fully boosted and wastegates open to really hear what they sound like. Revving while idling doesn’t even spin up the turbos and it’s going to sound like a BMW with a clapped out exhaust system.

Not trying to be a dick here but the only way to demonstrate exhausts for these trucks are to post videos of them WOT from the outside.

So far, in my option, it seems like most of the currently offered exhaust options just sound like my truck already does with the EOM setup, just a lot louder. I like the sound of our trucks factory exhaust at WOT, its just any other throttle position that the sound is like fingernails on a chalkboard.

I need to come to grips with the fact that these trucks just sound a certain way and we cant fix/change it. I drove a new Ram 1500 Tungsten with the HO motor this morning and the stock exhaust on it has a much better tone than our trucks. It was deeper, and didn't have the "duck fart" crackle sound to it.

So far the videos that you posted sound the best to me, I’m still debating on doing the full xMod system or just going with the Spec to save $1k.
