I'm so jelly of you folks with no sales tax, and registration that is barely an inconvenience. Sales tax was ~$6k and registration was $1,454 so that added an exciting $7,450 to my total. It is what it is, and hey, at least our property and income taxes are also highMark Dodge factory order....MSRP was $86,015. After rebates I'm paying $76,440 OTD (I'm sales tax exempt).
Yeah sales tax is such bs, that’s why I went with Montana. In Montana, cars over 10 years old get permanent plates, my wife’s Lexus is 2014 so it got permitted plates that never need to be registered or anything. Registration straight up says expires year 99999. It’s fun to see the cops face when he sees what year the plate expires. So forged blue base model bed utility with side steps same otd price as you lol but my state taxes are apparently 7k so... decisions decisions I guess
I'd love to live in Montana but every time I've tried to pack family in the wagon and cross the country, I've died from dysenteryYeah sales tax is such bs, that’s why I went with Montana. I live in Colorado, my “ business “ is in Montana.. just a LLC that doesn’t do anything. You don’t have to live in MontanaI'd love to live in Montana but every time I've tried to pack family in the wagon and cross the country, I've died from dysentery
This^^^. Thankful i am a Montana native and resident that also has Montana business, makes life easy with no sales tax, perm plates, cheap registration, endless custom plates. etc. truly the best state. Even if i wasn't a local and lived in another state i would have montana business. This is why almost every celebrity, wealthy person, supercar owner, have Montana LLC/registration/plates and the vehicle will never visit Montana ever. Its hilarious. IRS big mad.I live in Colorado, my “ business “ is in Montana.. just a LLC that doesn’t do anything. You don’t have to live in Montana
How do the red accents look with FBM? Was not sure if they look better than the gray...Also, is the leather any different with the red accent package?Yeah level 1, forged blue, bed utility group, sunroof and red accents.
I think it looks . I now red accent probably make more sense on a black exterior truck but I still loved it and preferred over the grey. Gives it more of a exotic/sporty interior design.. That’s why I placed an order Jan 9 I ordered exact same way again. Just different stitching and different accents, I doubt they use different leather. How do the red accents look with FBM? Did you remote purchase with there FedEx paperwork ?At Koons you just pay actual sales tax, registration and $899 for their processing (normal for Virginia). No other fees were added.
Too late for me now since I chose personal title when I placed the order but for future reference, how hard is this to do? And is there ongoing work you have to do to keep this going or any negatives? ThanksI live in Colorado, my “ business “ is in Montana.. just a LLC that doesn’t do anything. Not hard, Montana title services does all the work. It was like $250-$500 to set up. make up a company name, send over some info and that’s it. Only issue is if this is a new business, business won’t have a credit history, so you won’t get a loan in the company name. I paid cash but I did get a EIN number which is kinda like a SSN for a company. So moving forward I’ll get a credit card and slowly build a credit history so that in the future I can get a loan instead of paying cash.Too late for me now since I chose personal title when I placed the order but for future reference, how hard is this to do? 14k off, $10k from MD, then $4k in incentives. The big one was the Ford $2k incentive, if you have a Ford vehicle in your family. And, you don't have to trade in the Ford... Pretty cool... I passed on MD because I found a dealer in Colorado that came VERY close to their discount. Plus, now I'm not paying $1500 to transport the RHO from MD to the Denver area. If anyone is reading this from Colorado, message me and I'll help you out...I'm looking at a offer on a backed out order please share what your cost is all said and done
I'm paying 4.5% up in Evergreen CO.It’s about 8% tax in Colorado. That’s why I set up a LLC in Montana. No tax and registration is like $250.
