Placing 3rd order.. level 1 worth it? After having it, I feel like I need some convincing.

Who knows what the resale value will be 5-10 years from now anyway?
For me, I wanted the pano sunroof and the red accents, both of which necessitated the L1 package. And ventilated seats were high on my list also. Did I piss money away? Maybe. But all of us on this forum have a little money to piss away or we wouldn't be getting a RHO in the first place. The features I bought make me happy so I'm satisfied with what I paid for them, and I won't lose sleep over resale value.

Base comes pretty loaded up as other have said (same as level 1 trx). as someone who has been shopping TRX for years, there is almost no difference in resale value between level 1 and level 2. A good example, Locally, we had two 2022 TRX identical, one was level 1 and one was fully loaded. the level 1 sold in a day for $75k and the fully loaded sat on the lot for 2 months at $72k and was sold off to auction, both immaculate. ventilated seats arent a deal breaker for most people looking to buy, nor will they add significant value. Like i have said before anyone buying a high end truck isnt doing it as an investment but luckily the mark dodge discount eats up a year or two of depreciation.

the deal breakers for me:
  • 240-Amp Alternator
  • Smartphone as a Key
  • massage seats
  • hands free driving
(willing to exchange passenger screen parts for the glove box :)

If I had the option I would order lvl 0 ... lvl 0 does have Apple car play and android auto

2021 TRX lvl 1 68K resale value >> lvl 2 68 lol
2024 TRX lvl 1 82K >> lvl 2 83K

you can go on KBB and check yourself

Basically.. After few years the market would not recognize the trim option, especially when it comes to RAM
100% - no different that buying the cheapest house in the best neighborhood.

I live in south Florida and venitlated seats are a must have to survive the summer months otherwise I'd go with the base model.

Hey all, so as most of you know I’ll be placing a 3rd order after my truck engine failed and for the short time I had it I started to doubt that Level 1 is worth $10k.
•passenger screen felt like a gimmick that won’t get used

•massage chairs are alright but most likely will forget they are there unless I go on a road trip

•sound system was just okay, didn’t sound like a upgrade or anything special.

Sounds like the main thing I’ll be missing is a sunroof that I wanted and truck color options.. what am I missing? Surround cameras? Heads up display? Ventilated rear seats? Hands free driving?

Someone please convince me I still need level 1.

My wife loved it but this is my truck and I’m starting to doubt it’s worth it because $10k savings sound nice but I also like nice things. Will resale value hold up better? Or will no one care on the used market that you spent $10k more..obviously not a investment purchase but still..
It's a high end performance truck. If you're worried about resale value, you'd have bought a used base model truck.
Build the truck for you to enjoy, not the person who's buying it after you.

Personally, I'm all about Lvl 1, even if it is considered "fluff". I'm not necessarily worried about resale value so much as I am about the items I want in a vehicle. If savings is of more importance, get the Lvl 0 and you likely won't be disappointed at all. But if you price isn't a concern for you, get the Lvl 1.

For me, I wanted everything but the passenger screen (silly idea), so it was worth it.

EDIT: I agree with others. I bought this truck for me. I usually keep my vehicles for 8 to 12 years (I kept one for 14 years), so resale value means nothing to me.

My wife now insists I get ventilated seats. My driving style is a little aggressive and she thinks they help me calm down. I'm good with that because I do like using them.

I'm with you, I have my ventilated seats on even in the winter. Can't live without them!

Hands free driving for me alone is worth it as I’m planning to drive to different cities every weekend

Yeah, us folks in the HOT climates really understand the necessity of ventilated seats...

Cuts WAY down on junk sweat! :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

I went through all the same doubts in October and ended up ordering a Level 0. I have a nicely optioned Rebel right now that's great, and I picked through what comes on the base model line by line comparing it to what I have now and just couldn't justify it. Not saying I didn't really like the ventilated seats and 360 cam, but not for 10K. L0 is just too good a price point to pass up.

I justified the level 1 with the incentives offered, was a no brainer for me.
Well yeah but if the dealer offers me the same discount regardless of trim.. it’s still $10k difference. I’m just thinking for $10k I can get the truck plus a dirt bike, or plus a seadoo spark jetski.. instead all money in one bin. Like would would I get more use or enjoyment out of you know..

Not sure how anyone can justify a $75k truck not having pretty basic features such as 360 camera and ventilated seats. Even with a substantial discount you're hovering around $70k otd, and for anyone who pays MSRP 🤯

Anyone know what time of cruise control is offered on the base model? I don't need hands free, but would really like some sort of adaptive cruise that can maintain distance from vehicle in front.

Well I was getting a total of $12500 off.. so out the door it would be $59500 if I get the base..

We all know that if you need a dirt bike you will get it regardless of the truck.
so..
RHO + dirt bike < RHO level 1 + dirt bike
