It's incredibly easy to sell your vehicle to one of those big companies like Carvana. It's not going to be full private party but definitely more than a trade. I don't really know why anyone would take the hit on a trade in this day and ageFunny, I got offered $40K for my mint condition Raptor, provided I drive it there and there's no cam phaser issue. It's a lowball for sure.
Depending on what state you live in trade in value can be reduced from taxable purchase cost. You can save thousands on sales tax. It’s only worth it to private sell if you make more than what you would take off sales tax. For me that means private selling I have to make atleast 3k more than trade in. Not too hard but that aspect is appealing for trade in.It's incredibly easy to sell your vehicle to one of those big companies like Carvana. Gotcha. I didn't know that was a thing.Depending on what state you live in trade in value can be reduced from taxable purchase cost. You can save thousands on sales tax. Yep. Not sure how many states have it. Alabama where I’m from and Colorado where I live both have that law though.Gotcha. I didn't know that was a thing.
Yep, had a 2017 F250, tuned it, fast as hell, but won't be as fast as the RHO. Diesels are great, for towing, other than that, not so much. Had it for 4 years, enjoyed it a lot, but won't miss the smell, won't miss the maintenance, and won't miss the fuel $. I don't tow heavy shit, so I couldn't justify keeping it, but I don't regret having it, was a great truck and could literally pull a house down. Not for nothing, but the F250 HO Powerstroke was shockingly quick - things got some serious balls.
Overall pretty happy. I have the 6.2L V8. The refreshed interior with ventilated seats, updated/bigger screen and two tone leather is very nice. Ride quality is good, wish they didn't put M/T tires on it tho. I kind of like not being a wide body truck so the RHO will take some getting used too.I test drove a ZR2 before placing the RHO order. That was probably my next choice. How do you like yours? Do you have the diesel?
This is the EXACT reason I didn't get a 25 Ranger Raptor. If my kids would stop growing... I'd totally get into the new colorado ZR2 Bison... but alas, wife won't let me cut their legs off.
This is exactly why I'm trading the Charger as opposed to private sale. In Florida you are only taxed on the difference and it's a one time deal unlike a state like NC where you pay taxes every year.Depending on what state you live in trade in value can be reduced from taxable purchase cost.
