Plan B/Second Choice Besides RHO?

If you can't get your RHO, what would you get instead?

With mine supposedly built and just sitting waiting to be shipped I'll just sit and wait and hope that the value of my 2019 Power Wagon doesn't fall too much!

Funny, I got offered $40K for my mint condition Raptor, provided I drive it there and there's no cam phaser issue. It's a lowball for sure.
It's incredibly easy to sell your vehicle to one of those big companies like Carvana. It's not going to be full private party but definitely more than a trade. I don't really know why anyone would take the hit on a trade in this day and age

Depending on what state you live in trade in value can be reduced from taxable purchase cost. You can save thousands on sales tax. It’s only worth it to private sell if you make more than what you would take off sales tax. For me that means private selling I have to make atleast 3k more than trade in. Not too hard but that aspect is appealing for trade in.

Gotcha. I didn't know that was a thing.

I don't understand the question haha I'm all in.

Not for nothing, but the F250 HO Powerstroke was shockingly quick - things got some serious balls.

Yep, had a 2017 F250, tuned it, fast as hell, but won't be as fast as the RHO. Diesels are great, for towing, other than that, not so much. Had it for 4 years, enjoyed it a lot, but won't miss the smell, won't miss the maintenance, and won't miss the fuel $. I don't tow heavy shit, so I couldn't justify keeping it, but I don't regret having it, was a great truck and could literally pull a house down.

I test drove a ZR2 before placing the RHO order. That was probably my next choice. How do you like yours? Do you have the diesel?
Overall pretty happy. I have the 6.2L V8. The refreshed interior with ventilated seats, updated/bigger screen and two tone leather is very nice. Ride quality is good, wish they didn't put M/T tires on it tho. I kind of like not being a wide body truck so the RHO will take some getting used too.

If I were to get the ZR2 again only thing I would change is switch to the diesel.

Been debating raptor or TRX

25 Ford Ranger Raptor

If my kids would stop growing... I'd totally get into the new colorado ZR2 Bison... but alas, wife won't let me cut their legs off.
This is the EXACT reason I didn't get a 25 Ranger Raptor.

My oldest daughter (14) is growing like Bamboo on Miracle Grow and Gamma Radiation, and the youngest (10) isn't far behind....

I had them sit in a Ranger Raptor and the leg room wasn't bad, but it wasn't great.

I haven’t ordered a RHO yet, but I’m pretty sure I will soon. I readily admit I don’t need a vehicle of its size or capabilities. I thought about Colorado Bison/Ranger Raptor also, but would rather just go full size with the RHO dealer discounts. But the thing I’m considering most besides a RHO is a new C8 Corvette. Two completely different vehicles, but both would be fun to drive. Biggest reason I’m leaning RHO is Pennsylvania roads. I also don’t know I could get into or out of a Corvette with any ease or grace. I also have a 2019 2 door Wrangler in my garage that probably won’t be leaving for a few years.

A Ford Maverick! Already driving one actually. It’s my trade in, but if Im not impressed with the trade value at all, then I guess it’s plan B. Keep and drive the Maverick and ask for the refund on the deposit and let the RHO sail. I hope it doesn’t come to that though. I think I’ll be in good shape if they have the $2K ford competitor offer going on still when it arrives.

My RHO Plan B (May 9 order)......turned into two.

2024 Honda Ridgeline Trailsport for pickup needs and a 2024 BMW Z4 M40i for performance on steroids!

Life is good!

I will just keep my 2020 Sierra AT4 until the RHO is ready. This truck has been great and it's paid off - no hurry (but I WANT MY TRUCK NOW! haha)

This is exactly why I'm trading the Charger as opposed to private sale. In Florida you are only taxed on the difference and it's a one time deal unlike a state like NC where you pay taxes every year.

2nd choice

I've been seriously looking at leasing a 2024 Hummer pickup EV 2x. $6500 down, $859/mo lease special.
