RAM 1500 RHO Nameplate - What's your take on it?

During the press conference, Ram's CEO, Tim Kuniskis, clarified, "This isn't a TRX model. What we have here is the RHO, which could stand for Ram High Output. You might even spot a few rhinos as hidden easter eggs in the design—though officially, 'rhino' isn't its name. Feel free to interpret the RHO moniker as you wish."

What's your take on the meaning behind the RHO nameplate?

I think the name can grow on me, as per my avatar. I think ram needs some sort of catch name to differentiate it from the trx, also to pull in those people on the edge of getting one with a cool name. I thinking nothing is cooler than a savage name for a savage of road machine.

First time I saw the new name (RHO), I immediately went to the Greek letter. I wonder if that crossed their mind in the naming process?

My first thought was Rebel High Output, however I like the Rhino theme and hope it sticks. I wonder if RAM is trying to avoid potential trademark issues with the name Rhino. Should be fun to see what Rhino-themed easter eggs will be hidden throughout the truck.

I hope RAM still goes after the Raptor!

I think the people at Ram roam the internet to see what marketing is developing around the names and take that into the final product. I think the site had a lot of influence in their decision to use the rhino.
