RHO Orders @ Mark Dodge! $9K-$11K off MSRP

My fear is that we wait for months and months, and find out the L0's are going to be held long term, cancelled, etc. Then we have to put in new orders at the bottom of the queue for L1's if we are willing to suck up the extra cost. I was kind of on the fence about L1, but ultimately I need a new truck soon, one way or the other. I can probably drag this out begrudgingly until the early spring when I start doing my truck stuff again, but in the meantime, I've been putting off projects, etc.

If the factory was at least willing to give us an idea of what's going on, we could make some informed decisions. I was initially told 5-6 weeks, maybe a couple months wait on the high end when I put my deposit down in early September. If it's that they just want to batch 100 L0's in a month or two all at once, I'm ok waiting. If the flux capacitors in China for the smaller screens are on back order until next year, that's not going to work for me to keep waiting.
If it was just a part that they were waiting on, I don't see the harm in them letting the dealers and customers know what that part is. But making another $5k-$6k on every RHO L1 they build instead of an L0? I'm worried it is that or the fact that they only want the higher end trucks being compared/reviewed - especially any comparisons against the Raptor. Typically when a vehicle has been delayed for some component all of the manufacturers are pretty forthcoming with what part it is. Software, chips, airbags, connectivity tech, power seats, etc. have all been disclosed in the recent past.

Or they'll even ship them without the thing, depending on the severity. My COVID-era Sierra is still missing a couple of chips/features that the dealer said I'd have in a few months.

I share your fears, but I don't think RAM could market the truck in bold letters saying < 70K SUPERTRUCK!!! And then go ahead & never deliver on that...but I've been wrong before.

Like Anthony said earlier, RAM is again accepting Level 0 orders, so I assume they will be built at some point.

Why they can't at least provide an estimate for when that is I don't know & reflects poor management.

The value proposition of getting into a Raptor-fighter at ~65K (discount + bed utility+ running board options in my case) was what got me to pull the trigger on the RHO in the first place, paying ~$10K more for the Level 1 package ruins the whole thing for me.

Also like Anthony said, the Level 1 package is nice, but contains too many options that just don't matter to me, would be nice/better if they broke it up into smaller option packages.

@AnthonyRI by chance do you have any info on estimated date for the start of the base model production?
This has been addressed several times on other feeds here. No info on anything. However you can still order Lev 0. But no other info to give. Asked from mark dodge to ram and they are “working on it”. Sorry for bad news. Maybe no news is good news. 🤷🏿‍♀️

Also on this exact thread, today. People could do an ounce of research before asking the same question over and over.

Anthony is the oracle, BUT I wanted everyone to know that apparently Ram has designated one person to specifically address all unscheduled April and May orders! When I called Ram, they told me if I wanted information on my unscheduled April 25th order, I could go to Helen Waite. Trying to find her direct # as I type .....

I believe her number is 867-5309

Wow, I don't get how April, May and June orders have fallen through the cracks but some October order are being built and some So Cal dealerships are expecting some unsold RHO's in the next few weeks. But of course, they are not giving any discounts. My patience is running thin.
