Ram Warranty @Dealer Cost! Now Through March 31st!

What happens if you buy it and sell the truck after say 2 years and were still under factory warranty. Also what happens if you buy a 6 year extended warranty and sell after 5 and never put in a claim?
You get a prorated refund based on the time and mileage when you sold it.

Looks like you don't offer in Florida. Why is that?
We can, but they have a state law that requires us to sell at the listed MSRP price and cannot deviate from that. If you have a second non-florida address we can sell at a discount and it can be repaired in Florida.

Hey guys,
My RHO will be delivered to my driveway on Saturday. Called Mopar and bought a warranty for 8/85,000, $200 deductible at a smoking price. I paid in full and it is well below what I have seen here. I live in CA…and I appreciate saving $500 so I can put that towards two tanks of fuel.

I'm also in CA. What did you pay for that? I'm seeing a few different numbers for Mopar. Which did you call? Thanks!

I’m also curious who you called?

I assume you have to actually have the truck to purchase the extended warranty? I only ask because my May 31 order is currently on it's way to me here in Alaska and may or may not get here by March 31..........................:cautious:

You should have the VIN and thats what you need?

Chris

That is correct. I think there was a brief time after the RHO was originally launched that it was not filtered out and categorized as a "normal" Ram 1500 at the cheaper pricing, but that has since been corrected.

It is VIN specific, so now the pricing has bumped to "normal" RHO pricing.
Went to the website and it’s giving me an error and I can’t get a quote.

I don't drive many miles, but i plan on keeping truck for awhile so I opted for

8Yrs/75K
100.00 Deductible

I also went with
Granger Motors

Dealer Cost
3055.00
Maximum Care/ Flex care

Keep in Mind Its VIN based
The RHO is more expensive than lower level 1500's

Your Mopar extended warrant plan will show up in your Ram Account garage overnight, so you can track
Where in the Ram App does it show your warranty?

Where in the Ram App does it show your warranty?
Never said App. It shows up on your Ram/Mopar online owners account.

If you are a diy type do you still need to bring it in for things like the 60k service etc to not void maxcare? Guess what I am asking is what are the requirements so someone does not get a rejected claim?

Would like to know this as well. If I do my own oil changes/cabin filter changes/etc is that going to hurt me?

Here's the MaxCare (FlexCare) contract info regarding maintenance.

Don’t they all require that?

I suspect they all have similar language as it vibes as a boilerplate clause. Other warranties that I've seen are more restrictive. For example, an in-house lifetime powertrain warranty at a local dealer requires that a RAM dealership or an ASE-certified mechanic perform all recommended/schedule maintenance. Another requires presenting the vehicle every 15,000-miles for a free inspection.

If you don’t mind me asking, what did you pay for the Mopar extended warranty? I just picked mine up yesterday and was offered 6yr/60k mile for $1,520. Sounded reasonable but wanted to do more research before I committed.

Based on how expensive this truck is to repair, that’s one blown headlight ballast and I’m in the money!

@Zach@Granger if I have CA plate but reside in another state can I buy the warranty or does it go off of where the vehicle is currently registered.
