Sorry a couple of questions. What speed does hands free go down to? Does the adaptive cruise control support stop and go? My wife's Durango supports stop and go, but releases the brAke if you are stopped for a few seconds which is very annoying. Finally what speed do lane centering go down to?

I spend a lot of my commute in traffic. The more it does for me the more relaxing that is. While I dislike the ACC turning off in her Durango if we stop for more than a few seconds, it is still miles less stressful than dealing with stop and go in my current truck.

I think the lane assist feature kicks in and out at 37 mph. I have not tested that out. When traffic slowed down, I always had my hands on the wheel and didn't pay attention. The few times traffic came to a dead stop with ACC, the adaptive cruise control picked right back up. It never shut off. However, if your eyes are not forward, it will shut off.

A couple of things to note. For lane assist to work, it needs to be able to read the lines, blind spot functional, AND it needs a GPS signal. So I'm assuming you go into a tunnel it's going to nag you about taking over. When active, there are three levels Green, Yellow, Red. Green is obvious. All conditions are met for it to work. Yellow is a warning because you took your eyes off the road. Without turning my head and just shifting my eyes over to see the nav screen, it only took 2-3 seconds for this to kick in. The last is red because it's pissed you aren't watching the road. If you continue to ignore it while it is red, it will automatically come to a complete stop in the middle of the road. I guess this is good if you just experienced a medical emergency but if you're just turned around to smack the unruly kids around in the back seat, prepare for it to brake. Oh, and if you really like these features, you have to pay for them after 3 years.

The last interesting thing is.....It's spying on you.

Awesome thank you very much, glad they might have figured out stop and go better. Wish lane keep worked while going a bit slower but thats ok.

I'm sure they are taking your picture to help with by claims their hands free system caused a crash
