Those coming from TRX to RHO, have you gotten any auto insurance quotes back and how does it compare to what you were paying with your TRX? I know the hellcat motor can drive the insurance cost up sometimes and some insurance companies wont insure it or make you store it in a garage, so I'm wondering if the RHO will be cheaper to insure. Both trucks have SIMILAR values obviously but i know the Hellcat is an inner city target. LOL

Well I’m hoping that it isn’t any more than my $215 a month stinger is.. :(

Denver insurance is expensive.

It was quite reasonable compared with my BMW X5 M50i…about $300/year less.

Both about same HP/TQ, around same price new…RHO is a bit heavier, which makes it more of a liability hazard. Expected same or more $$.

I’m happy.

OT: I just bought a Tesla Model X yesterday. Most dealers just want proof you have insurance and you have a grace period to actually add your new vehicle, but Tesla want you to submit a document showing you actually have the vehicle actively on your account before you take possession. I did not have a high degree of confidence my insurance company could make that happen by close of business yesterday, so I just did the Tesla insurance as a stop gap. Holy $hit. When I saw the quote I was like oh thats good for a 6 month policy, then realized it was monthly, lol. My insurance company actually got it all lined up for 1/4 of the Tesla policy, so I can drop the Tesla insurance immediately on Friday after I pick up the car.

It looks like my Rho will be coming in after I move to Oklahoma. I’m curious how that will impact my rate.

I have 5 cars on my NJM account (and two teen drivers). 23 Durango Hellcat is $2194 year and wife's 24 Audi A5 convertible is $2364 (most expensive of all cars). 21 F-450 limited is $2003 year. All cars have full coverage and same deductible. I think the RHO should be between F-450 and DDHC, but certainly not more than DDHC. I can imagine RHO being similar to F-450. We shall see. Just remember many factors go into cost of insurance like credit score, history, drivers on policy, location....blah blah blah.

I was paying 88 month for full coverage on my TRX, but I am now paying 115 a month. This just happen last 6 or so months ago. Clean driving record and no accidents in the last 10 years. Been slowly going up like 5 dollars a month. Most of the increase was in collision.
