RHO Orders @ Mark Dodge! $9K-$11K off MSRP

Ram hates people who ordered in April. Looks like their "we'll fix it" was typical Ram blowing smoke - as I predicted it would be. 44% of September orders and 23% of October orders. Are they going to give you dispensation when when savage them on our post sale surveys?

E-shop shows 41 from MD so I guess it’s not totally up to date. No news on non-L1’s I assume?
We have 61 non-L1s in system.
C - 3
D - 53
Paint - 5

The ones in paint have all been there since October 1st/2nd so it is possible that they'll sit there until whatever it is catches up - OR - that they were able to accommodate those before whatever shortage/item missing it was. Really not sure what to make of it.

The post survey only penalize us. If you have issues with things that are NOT under the control of the dealership, the survey is not the place to voice them. All survey results reflect on the dealership itself only.
Regardless of the question, that's literally what the survey is for. I hope that you are happy with your dealership experience with Mark Dodge specifically to voice those concerns with RAM in another outlet. The stakes are high there and literally we are not able to do these discounts without that.

Thanks for the data. Mine still shows D1 in tracker so I guess I got kicked back to D and they didn’t update. Unfortunate.

Thank for clarifying that - we (I) all need to remember that. I imagine it bothers you just much when Ram blows smoke up you a** as well.

I've been told that RAM will build N number of RHOs, between 500 and 2k of them, send them all to a central train yard where they will all be waiting for that number to be reached. Once they've amassed the thousand or so trucks, they'll all be sent to dealerships at the same time. We will not see 1 truck here and another truck delivered there type of trickle. Any truth to that?

Of course it bothers him. If anyone has the right to be the angriest in this thread, it's @AnthonyRI .

RAM supplied him with wrong information, got everyone's hopes up and then continue to double down. Now they've potentially made him look dishonest and/or incompetent when he was just trying to go above and beyond for this group.

It takes time to build trust and reputation and RAM did him (and yes, us) dirty.

If someone gives Mark Dodge a bad review then they are just impossible to please.

Not necessarly in that scale - but yes we do expect a "containment" period at beginning of model year where trucks will sit either in inspection status or shipped to storage until a certain number are reached and then released. That's TOTALLY normal for new model year and/or new model itself. Could be a week or a few weeks.

Mine is shipped to storage as of 10/6 and my dealer said exactly the same thing: normal for a new model.

Looks like season 3 of the wire.
Hey at least these are built in continental US and aren't going on barges or ships
I remember that series! True on the barges and ships. They will just be on transport carriers driven on salty/slushy roads in the middle of Winter. KIDDING!!! hopefully......

True story - my truck (the lowly bighorn) was delivered 1700 miles, through 2 small snowstorms... arrived MUCH cleaner than I expected!

That's better than my experience. I had a truck delivered with a caved in roof. Transport went through a whoop dee doo and the truck was able to make contact with the upper level braces.

It wasn’t a Ram…it was my wife’s graduation present from her dad…a brand new ‘88 Fiero (remember those…mid-engine Pontiac with Iron Duke 4-cylinder)…snowed the night before she was to pick it up…plows worked all night to keep the streets & Toyota/Pontiac parking lot clear…she arrived & found a plow had hit her new car!

They swapped it for a brand new Celica 5 speed coupe. She actually got lucky with that swap, I think.

Still looks like april orders including mine on the 27th are struggling...amazing how april has the lowest in progress.
I am sure the "Ram higher ups" will send an email every month reassuring Mark Dodge that they fixed the ordering and scheduling process. Ram being Ram. They don't give a sh*t. We can't complain because we're getting a good discount. Like others have said, works out great for some, others have to wait and wait and wait. Just never thought it would disproportionately happen to those who got in early.

May isnt moving much either. Sucks.
