RHO Orders @ Mark Dodge! $9K-$11K off MSRP

Picked up the RHO at Mark Dodge Thursday! @AnthonyRI sorry for the grab and dash. I had work commitments for the weekend that couldn't be avoided. I would have liked to have stuck around a little longer to get to know everyone better. I was there literally what? 30 minutes? Just a testament to how efficient the Mark Dodge operation is. In and out. Say thanks to Melinda and Robert for me. The trip home was uneventful however the first time I started it after I got home the engine light came on. Joy! Will try to figure that one out today.
Well that's...concerning.

I sent the particulars to @AnthonyRI, but figured I would share this story with the group…to pass the time, as we wait for April and May builds… ;-)

So here goes…last night, I was unable to log into the RAM website. The system sent a “verify your email” message that was supposed to arrive within 2 hours, that never did. So I decided to contact customer service and did so over chat.

While trying to rectify situation (still can’t log in btw) I figured “what the heck, might as well ask about the status of my order”. I got the “you are scheduled waiting for production”, so I had to ask “what’s taking so long”…. After a few exchanges stating that my wait time falls within acceptable parameters, I typed “6 mos, really?” And the customer service rep shared they would escalate my request. I smiled, closed the chat down and went about my business.

Today I received an email… my VON, my VIN, but not my name in the email. If there’s a Donald B. on here let me know (won’t share the 7-letter long last name in the open).

Shared with Anthony…cause I don’t know, what are the chances that the May orders got all flipped around with those April orders!! (Please read with sarcasm and fun intended…again to just pass the time while I wait for the tracker to update and gain access to the website now too).

Hope you enjoyed
Alex

This is the exact reason the guys that ordered in May, me included, are nervous their orders are in limbo. SMH. No bueno.

I see the regular rams are having issues with engines lights coming on right after leaving dealer. Wonder if the delay since may and now are result of trying to resolve this issue? Could be a faulty parts batch. Programming. Whatever. Just speculation but might be valid.

I’d rather wait for them to fix then get a new truck that needs to head back to dealer who most likely knows little about issue. There is more incentive to fix a truck to sell it then fix a sold truck sitting at dealer that you are paying the note on.

Sorry to hear that. Becoming more and more convinced that the car gods are telling me to keep my TRX. It's been flawless.

I’m thinking same with DDHC but I want a smaller pickup again. Can’t daily the F450. It’s a pig.

Maybe wait for the bugs to get hashed out.

Hey at least you can make plans to wrap it. What color did you get, and what wrap are you doing? What did they quote you if I may ask?
I’m going with a KAVACA Stealth PPF. CWrapsTN here in the Clarksville, TN area comes highly recommended. They quoted me $6,500 for the whole truck and that is pretty reasonable IMO.

I meant to ask, maybe that’s my “booger” nickname! I know @AnthonyRI didn’t do it, so which one of you is messing with me! 🤣
Everything is all same on my end. This is pulled just this very moment - I'll email you full copy of POC as well

We had some orders for Mark Dodge for Tungstens that when customer pulled up, said they were going to some other dealership I've never heard of.
As I've said a number of times, and no offense to you for trying, but unless you are speaking with a person who will give you their direct phone number, last name, and has their own name in their email address - they are not able to give you any more information than you and I can get together. You have not breached any higher level of escalation with Althea, Heather, or Emzy.

This past week I saw my truck go into production with an estimated ship date of Feb 4th! The wait has been frustrating to say the least, but I logged on tonight to show my wife that it moved up to the 3rd and maybe I could see it a little earlier. When I logged in I don’t have a ship date anymore… I have a truck built Nov 21st 🧐
You're released to shipping, but haven't actually moved yet (which again is not on a ship, but a train)

I just traded in my 23 TRX in on a 24 RAM 2500 6.7L Big Horn, stupidest thing I have ever done. I have 800 miles on the new 2500. I am in Nashville, do you take trades? Or do I need to sell it on my own then order?View attachment 255
I have a 2022 2500 Laramie that I’m planning to trade in for the RHO. I’m trying to figure out if I’m going to miss my diesel.

If you pull a lot you will miss it, but if you don’t pull a lot then you’ll love it, I love my TRX and I can’t wait to get my RHO.

I pull a four seat Can-Am 5 or 10 times a year. Trailer is only like 4000 pounds I feel pretty confident that RHO should handle that. I think I’ll definitely miss that diesel sound starting up.

@AnthonyRI Can you check on mine 60944127
Once it gets on the train, do yall get an accurate estimate on when it will arrive or do they usually just show up out the blue?

You're at body vendor.

Once it is actually ON a train (not just listed as shipped, but real life) we know what date it should arrive to the last rail stop.
That date is 95% accurate, it's a train.
From that date, we know it will get to mark dodge something like 3-15 days ish forward.
That is the end of the predictability, until it gets on a truck - and we can see that it will be there same-day.
NONE of this is push notifications, you'd have to look randomly to see it.

Just following up. Bought a foxwell 301 obdii scanner off Amazon. Black Friday sale (go figure) same day delivery. Pulled a code U0418 “implausible data received from brake system control module”. Cleared the code and everything seems fine for now. Will wait and see if it was just a fluke.
