I know. Not a HO motor or even a Ram but similar setup. Interesting to see how much is involved to pull block. Also, somewhat shocked on how this tech works. I'm not a certified mechanic but have been pulling/building motors for 40+ years and never work or handle parts like this guy. Then again I'm not held to any sort of time to get a job complete.

I've read this coolant issue has been resolved for the RHO. Hope so.

Oh great...bad/cheap head gaskets, way to go Ram...that tells me these engines long term won't stand a chance. I can see this NOT being a recall scenario because it will most likely surpass the standard warranty and most of us without extended warranties will be liable for any damage that occurs. These motors aren't cheap. Thanks Ram. 🖕

Since the first hurricane engines were released, there have been three thermostat changes. Have you ever heard the saying, "85% of the things you worry about never happen?" You can either wait for the 2027 RHO or get a nice extended warranty and enjoy your truck.

Where did you get your numbers from?
I agree with the second part.

It's mentioned on Wagoneer forums. Part numbers have changed. There was a faulty batch of 5100 on the early thermostats installed. Then the part number has changed 2 more times.

That's good to know! Thanks for the info

Who do you suggest for a good extended warranty? Best coverage and deal ???

What is interesting is the build in VIN series (watch video @2:00 mark)? Interesting........
