What did you do to your RHO Today?

Finally got my “eyebrow “ tint done. I already had factory tint removed and retinted the windows, so this finishes it out. Next I’m going to do the 5% ceramic tint on the sunroof.

I had a question on the sunroof tint. I see a lot of people doing that. Why tint it when you can simply close the sunshade if you want to keep all light out of the cabin?

Isn't one if the benefits of the sunroof that can can let light into the cabin without even having to open the sunroof just by opening up the shade portion of the roof?

Thanks !

I didn't order a sunroof but heat rejection is your answer.

All I can say is the wait is worth it but to many it’s f’ing ridiculous how Ram handled it. Maybe it’s worth buying it off a lot that offers steep discounts. We didn’t get as much of a discount as MD but still love our truck.

With that being said if I’m still alive for the next wonder from Stellantis, @AnthonyRI is getting the business.

Chris
I wish I had ended up with Anthony. He is absolutely on it here and knows his stuff! My guy at MD is, shall we say, far less engaged. I never hear from him about anything and now I don't ask him anything . I just go to Ashley. She's amazing!

I got my tinting finished, radar detector fixed, then took it to the lake for some photos. When I got home, the Rough Country low profile, triple flip bed cover arrived (a week late) so I also installed that.

Heat is the main reason. Putting the crystalline tint at 5% both massively reduces the UV rays but the IR rays as well. In Texas, we have to do whatever it takes to not be cooked alive in the summer.

factory tint removed? on the back windows? I thought it was just dark glass, is it actually film on them?
IDK TBH -I know we discussed removing the factory tint on the rear windows and keeping it so all the windows were the same. I could be wrong on the sunroof.

Can’t remove the factory tint as it’s glass with a tint embedded inside.

It's not the tint that they're after so much. It's heat rejection film, aka nano-ceramic tint film. It can be tinted or clear. Helps to reduce heat build up.

Attempted to put on the RHO Bedside decals today... Attempted being the key word. Who has the expert advice for applying these???

1. Probably shouldve had it on level ground.
2. Wife and I almost got divorced trying to decide if it was straight or not.
C. After saving my marriage by using an agreed upon placement i ended up with 50 air bubbles. I am thinking i shouldve treated it like how they put on tint. Maybe.

Needless to say i ripped it right off and i now have one bedside decal. (NOT INSTALLED)

Somebody save me... Need expert advice here...

I would maybe take it to a tint/wrap shop. To preserve the marriage and what not you know

The question in my head as I looked at them on my desk this morning was "How hard can it be?"... I know the answer now...

it wont be straight because of the fender curve. I posted a while back on the measurement to get it straight.

@sheepoppa was this yours? I saved it from here somewhere for when I install my own.

yessir, sure is! Thanks for finding this. Hopefully this helps!
It'll help me for sure that's why I downloaded it to my phone when you posted it. Question: did you apply the graphics wet or dry?
