I liked it. But the tonneau cover itself was okay. Went with Peragon this time so the tool box isn’t compatible.Didn't like it?
Yes. But it must be activated each and every time you start the truck. It’s not like the radio where you turn it on and it’s on when you start the truck again.Isn’t there an “auto stop eliminator” button on the dash? To turn auto stop off?![]()
DVSo what's the new tag gonna be?
DVRHO
I could have used a Texas state symbol, but I thought the heart symbol was better. It will not be a red color, Texas will put black letters/symbols on the white plate, just a black heart on the forum is hard to see. I really wanted RHONIN, but it wasn’t possible. I had to either start or end with DV, so not a lot of choices. My wife said it was fitting.
Yes. in Texas, a license plate with "DV" indicates the vehicle belongs to a Disabled Veteran. Many DV plates also feature a service branch (e.g., Army, Navy, Air Force) or a specific medal or award, similar to my previous plates, which displayed both the DV designation and the Southwest Asia Service Medal (ODS).Forgive my ignorance, the DV is for Disabled Vetran?
Every morning when I step out of my truck and head to the elevators at work, I have to look back and do the same - a big smile and a "damn I love that truck" look, before getting into the elevators... Yeah, I think most of us, especially the ones who daily drive this truck, have that "Damn I love this truck" moment often. This morning:
I took the trash out and smiled when I saw my truck.
Thirty minutes later, I put my lunch and laptop backpack in the truck and smiled more when I opened the door.
Thirty minutes later, I rounded up the minions for school, and I grinned happily as I started my truck.
I LOVE this freaking truck!!
I'm a firm believer that if you DON'T turn around and admire your vehicle when walking away then you picked the wrong one. I do this multiple times a day when I look out my small office window into the parking lot.I'm a firm believer that if you DON'T turn around and admire your vehicle when walking away then you picked the wrong one. Whether it's in a parking lot or even your driveway.
Unless you spot other people admiring it already. Then the coolest possible thing you can do is casually lock it and walk away without looking back. I like to imagine I'm in slow motion there are doves flying and an explosion in the background.I'm a firm believer that if you DON'T turn around and admire your vehicle when walking away then you picked the wrong one. Yup and in less time than it takes to start the truck, let it run for a moment then press the stupid button, like everyone else, the autostart disabler is installed. But if you're like me....I always forget to press the button....until it shuts off at a stoplight.![]()

Did the F150 extender bolt right in? Is it aluminum?Put on the Apex Auto bedside decals just now. Also realized I hadn't posted pix of the F150 bed extender install or the Retrax bed cover.
Had to drill 3 holes on each side and then insert a M10 rivnut in order for the extender to bolt up...pretty easy, just alot of measuring to be safe. I'll post up a few pix tomorrow of them removed since I'm taking the truck to get Line-X on Monday. There's a post on the TRX forums about this install as well.Did the F150 extender bolt right in? That’s good to know I’ve been thinking for months. I was gonna pull the bed extender out of my raptor and put it in my RHO when it finally gets here. Wasn’t 100% sure it was going to be an easy fit until now.Had to drill 3 holes on each side and then insert a M10 rivnut in order for the extender to bolt up...pretty easy, just alot of measuring to be safe. The extender is actually sturdy plastic. Ford actually made a good product here. Picked it up off Amazon marketplace for $100...absolutely steal!
