Thank you very much, my truck is almost identical to yours but has a Pano and tow mirrors. My fingers are crossed that I can keep it above 1200
Will be interesting to see how much difference the Pano makes.

Here you go

Excuse my ignorance, but why is payload such a huge topic?

When towing or hauling things in the bed it determines the maximum load that can be safely carried. For towing you need to consider the tongue weight of the trailer as well as passengers and gear. There is nothing you can do to legally adjust the payload, but it doesn't mean that you can't make it tow or haul better. Payload is usually measured for one configuration of a vehicle then it is just a math problem for a given weight of a build. There are a lot of considerations (both legal and practical) that a manufacture goes through when setting payload.

Awesome thank you, and your options are

Level 1 Equipment
Bed Utility
Dual Pane Panoramic Sunroof
Red Interior Accents

Correct?

1357 you are giving me hope.

Thank you for that info. First time truck owner

I posted it elsewhere but I worked out by looking up every VIN (using the window sticker so I know the options) in ram's website that shows you payload for each VIN... that pano costs you 56 lbs and tow mirrors about 12 lbs. It's in a spreadsheet... here you go:
