My two cents: don't mention TK by name in your video. Just say "others out there."

I've been through this a few times. Every time I talk about a channel by name, it ALWAYS bites me in the butt.

You gonna tell us what the conclusion was from the techs or did I miss it?

Sweet video. Good to see it was just a loose wire.
Wire broke out of the connector, I was not thinking it would be a harness issue...I figured bad sensor or programming. I will keep everyone posted...have 800 mile tow trip happening this week!

Can you imagine how many pissed off people including myself if all of a sudden the RHO is 30+% off of what we just paid for it.

These trucks are already selling for $8-14k under MSRP (all discounts included)...and 10-15k less than a Raptor...as long as this truck stays solid/reliable I see no reason for Ram to discount more. With that being said...some vehicles are seeing a big discount (Bronco Raptor)...I have a video coming on this from something I found this weekend that blew my mind on pricing on these.

Sure we are already getting those 14k from MD, but 10k of that was from MD. 61k msrp is a whole lot different than 87k msrp @30%.

exactly...if Ram dropped MSRP from $87k to $61k they would be losing a lot of money per vehicle...at that point they would be more financially viable to just not make RHOs...

Couple comments on the wiring harness repair video with tech Q&A…

1st
Tech mentions checking the dash oil level gage after an oil change & discusses there is a procedure that is supposed to be followed. DO NOT rely on the dash oil level gage immediately after changing the oil!!!

See the attached explanation of how the oil level gage works. It records from the last time the engine was up to operating temperature & then shut down for at least 4 minutes on level ground. And, it doesn’t display that most recent level until the engine is re-started. And, it only records “occasionally”, unless the ignition is left in the “run” position with the engine off for 4 minutes. A little confusing? Yes, if you don’t understand how it works!

See 2nd attachment-a snap shot from the video. Get that frame rust fixed, ASAP! Glad my truck was not the only one with this issue. Ram needs to get the guy back who touched-up those spots on the TRX in the factory.

That spot on frame I have heard is the cradle that holds the RHO frame during production process...I need to crawl under mine asap as I am about to do a big tow through salt!

Yes, it is caused by the factory cradle. Look under a TRX…the factory used to touch-up those spots.

I’ve fixed mine. It’s superficial, when the truck is new, and easily repaired.
