App notifications while stuck in production

I had mine added today with no bill of sale or anything needed, the damn thing is still in JS status, and gps is dead, which can only mean the batteries are dead, off to a wonderful start I see…. 😞

Just checked mine and it updated with a location in souther Michigan away from the plant so I’m assuming it’s been shipped! 10 miles on the odometer. Fun little game.
I think it updated after the truck is turned on for the first time after app activation.

Maybe I’ll try again tomorrow and will get someone else.
I tried calling - dnk this was out there. They said they are normally open 24/7 - but not today . . . try again later. Getting anxious over here! But, assuming this works, it's pretty sweet! How long has this been out there and why didn't someone tell us? I check that stupid website like 5x a day and it's always way behind!

Alright - I got this set up, but mine says "not available" under vehicle location and then "unable to locate vehicle" under that. Under "driving reports" - not available and under drive alerts it just shows everything off. What am I missing here?

OP (or someone??) - how did you get all of those shots/locations on the app? Mine is built so you would think there was some history to show . . . but nothing.

Refer to my post 2 replies up.

It will only update location after the first startup of the truck AFTER setting up the app.

For instance, I set up the app yesterday around noon. I had the same thing. No location. Then around 9pm the truck was driven 0.8 miles. I was able to see location after the truck was driven.
However I cannot see previous “trips” that were taken before I set up the app.

That's not true. I got email alerts for mine several times before it was delivered and I hadnt even downloaded the app.

The data being logged is not linked to the app being set up. I don't know what it is linked to, though.

My app did the same for over a month where it wouldn't load the location or any info, when the truck finally was started/cleared inspection and moved, it was able to show the location and someone was driving my truck.!

That’s strange. Can’t answer that one!

Still at final inspection! Hope it's gonna be the nicest truck ever after 2 months there

Update: Still at inspection as of last Thursday (over 2 months there) but last night i got an app notification the truck had been driven/moved. Ill attach the screenshot, moved from blue roof outdoor storage to somewhere else in the building. Maybe finally fixing the issue that has kept it at inspection forever. Who knows. Makes me happy they are actually paying attention and not just pushing them through inspection. That being said, WTF takes 2 months to fix?! Haha. I better get a perfect truck after a year wait!

I just tried. They asked for bill of sale to proceed.

Mine is not active yet. I'm in the app shows the truck and all but shows my position where I'm currently at haha.

Same here. Which to me means either the batteries are disconnected OR are dead.

Possibly, I was thinking maybe they had to start it once the account gets activated. 🤷‍♂️

My truck went from IN PRODUCTION to BUILT on 02/28. App has been showing it in a parking lot outside of SHAP (north of Detroit). Today it is showing that it is at Capital Trucking, Inc (south of Detroit). So I guess the shipping process has begun; though the tracker just shows BUILT...
