Auto Stop Start shutter when throttle applied quickly

Does anyone else experience a shutter coming from what seems like the rear when when you hit the throttle too quickly after the truck auto-starts after a stop? If I wait a second or two then apply the throttle it's fine. I only ask because I had a 2021 RAM 1500 with the auto stop start feature and never had that problem.

Not too many owners here.. I would say dealer is your best option for now

My finger moves immediately from the ignition button to the disable start/stop function button when I start the truck.

It didn't bother me too much in my old truck, it was quick and smooth enough that it was hard to notice so I got used to it. I'll consider bringing it to a dealer but they likely won't do anything, it's worth mentioning.

No way to disable permanently yet. Need something like tazer which should be coming soon

In the ~450 miles I had mine, I did not have that issue.

You sure it's not your transmission doing that? Maybe It needs a moment to get to operation pressures before you stab the gas pedal.

Could very well be trans and what you said, I just never experienced it on my 2021 Limited Longhorn and was curious if others experienced it.

My 19 rebel with the 5.7 e torque had this issue but wasn’t 100% of the time or very repeatable. I just hit the auto stop-start “off” button and went on my way, I wish there was a way to permanently disable this as i’m ok losing the marginal mpg difference personally.

Exactly: is saving 2 seconds worth of burned fuel at a stop sign worth all of the wear and tear of stop and start on these engines?

I hate that this feature is forced on us

Yet these same manufacturers are fine with us remote starting our vehicles to warm them up in winter or cool them down in summer, burning how much fuel during all of this? Far more than than burned by shutting down the engine for a second at a stop sign! Rant over

LOL so true! I live in AZ in the summer i’ll remote start my tahoe and let it run for 10 mins before getting in the car just to cool it off. Worth the extra few bucks to me

Oh yeah. Totally worth it. I just hate the hypocrisy of these government agencies that demand better fuel efficiency, basically forcing manufacturers to install these crap auto stop/start features (that can’t be permanently disabled), yet they’re fine with features such as remote starting our vehicles the allow us burn way more fuel sitting still? What sense does that make?
It’s like they can’t see the forest through the trees.

I’ve got my fingers crossed some of these BS policies get rolled back here soon. There has to be a way we can disasble it, I’ve heard Tazer mentioned here. If you ever poke around the Raptor forums Forscan comes up a lot there and honestly you can adjust everything with that, anyhow now I’m just daydreaming
