I took delivery of my level 0 a few days ago from MD. Unfortunately the CEL came on almost immediately upon driving. It’s throwing the following codes:

P2C90
P1CEA
UO418

I saw a few others on here report P1CEA and UO418. I’ve already made sure that all fuses are fully seated and I disconnected the batteries to try to reset, but I’m realizing that may not have been the best bet with the whole 200 miles/15 warm up cycle thing. Taking it into the dealer on Monday. Anyone else seeing these issues?

This is my first new truck… the engine smells different when running and I can’t put my finger on what it is. Is that typical due to manufacturing lubricants, new gaskets, etc.?

I'm in the same boat. Picked up from MD on Monday. Was driving home and at around 200 miles I got a check engine light.

Once home I got codes:

P1CEA
U0418

The truck seemed to run fine the entire drive home. The only oddity was when I went to fill up the gas tank was under heavy vacuum. As soon as I started to push the gas cap with the gas nozzle there was a vacuum sound until the pressure in the tank equalizer.

My truck went into the shop yesterday. I'll let you know what I hear.

What are the invoice/build dates on your window stickers? It is a code at the bottom, left of center. Reads like "1207"... Trying to gauge whether these issues are common to early-build trucks or not....

I'm not having these issues, but I did have check engine lights and a new PCM being installed. My window sticker has these numbers:

L4-VON: 9906 and 0106-0

Another thread that had posts by someone “in the know” (maybe a dealer tech?) said he is expecting a recall due to a wire that goes to one of the turbo EG sensors, Apparently, it’s too short & shorts out, leading to a rich fuel scenario. In at least one case, it supposedly hydro locked an engine with gas!

I’ve not had a CEL (yet), but my 1st oil change smelled of heavy fuel contamination.

Stellantis needs to get this resolved. Along with the damn safety sensor “software” issue!

Tracking on my PCM shows it should arrive in Phoenix today. I'm praying the dealer can get it installed and programmed with no issues. I'll ask the Service manager about some of these other issues.

I also asked them to check my Transfer case and rear diff fluids, as well as the alignment. Something tells me both of those have been forgotten with all the Hussle and Bussel over the PCM.

For everyone's reference - build date circled. This one was built on 12/14. Great idea to track!

The truck was diagnosed with a shorted out Purge valve. They ordered the part but it won't be in until March 3rd.
Do you have a photo of the shorted purge valve? I am wondering if it’s located on top of the turbo housing?

I'm curious with the part not being in until March 3rd, are you able to drive the truck while waiting on that part, or is your truck sitting until that time?

After all.. workers at the factory were right! They kept making noise about short harness

They are letting me drive the truck until the parts arrive.
That's good to hear, mine goes in Tuesday for the same 2 codes you have and I want to keep driving it. Mine is a 12/19 build and have 2000 miles on it though, didnt pop us right away like others.
